my apples will be arriving Wednesday , I won't be giving them out until Christmas week . I'm wondering if they will still be fresh as they most likely won't be eaten till Christmas or about Christmas week .

I can't remember how long Lori said the apples stay fresh .....anyone ?

I thought she said 3 weeks in the fridge. Maybe you can check the presentation or pull up the item and says anything.

@Kitty Galore - they're supposed to last a couple of weeks or so in the fridge. I hope yours do well. Stating the obvious here - DO NOT freeze them.

My own experience is that three years ago I ordered a 10-pc. set of large apples. They shipped on 12/20 and were to be given as gifts on NYE. After the fact I heard they weren't good. There were bad spots throughout. I was embarrassed and won't buy them again.

I've ordered the apples many times before Christmas and enjoyed them into February, with only a slight discoloration from the stick thru the center.

I've purchased them in early December and they were fine Christmas week. A few years ago, I had one left, and we didn't eat it till mid January. It was good. Maybe a slight less crisp, but still delicious. I think they should be fine.

Mine are coming the week of 12//8. That's when I always get them. I keep them in the garage (attached) because I don't have room in my fridge. It's cold out there and they keep fine.

I always get the 10 pc large granny smiths and have never had a problem. Been getting them for several years, and I have kept them longer than 3 wks. I usually have 1 or 2 to bring home.

@Kitty Galore - I received a shipment on 11/20 with an insert that states the apples can be refrigerated "up to 2 to 3 weeks." We ate six of the apples from this shipment at a party last Friday, 11/28, and they were all fresh and delicious. I buy at least one set of the triple chip apples every November (even with all of our homemade holiday goodies, people would be disappointed if these were omitted), and I've had situations where a few apples have still been hanging around on New Year's Day, and they've been perfect when we cut into them. I am sure your apples will be fine until Christmas, and I hope you really enjoy them!

People are buying these for a treat - not as part of a healthy diet. I think they're aware of the ingredients and calories.

Everyone is allowed an indulgence now and then, especially at Christmastime! No need for the "diet police" lecture. Jeez!

If anyone's still considering buying apples, they just came out with their Pink Lady Big Deal apples. I think they taste way better than the usual Prindable apples.

I was disappointed with the batch of apples I received at Halloween time. Just did not taste the same. The Carmel was skimpy and the apple was ok but not very flavorable.

I decided to pass for Christmas giving.

I have never had an issue with them not keeping.

Affy Tapple set of 8 apples are back in stock at HSN, priced a bit lower then Mrs P, same mfg.
