Stop exaggerating

Susan Graver was presenting a faux leather belt and said she is out there in retail looking at belts and they are currently 130.00 or more. Please. I have seen beautiful leather and faux leather belts everywhere and on line for under 40.00. Can’t they just present items with descriptions and prices without all the puffing?

She's obviously not shopping around. Her job is to replicate upscale fashion for the QVC customer. She's probably going to Saks and Neiman, while we may be looking at Macy's and Amazon.

I think all of them do that when presenting their wares. Someone is always is saying, "put a zero behind that". They want us to think it's more then it is.

I buy a lot of Brighton products, among them are belts. I just bought 2 over the weekend and neither was over $100.

Faux leather belts are not a good purchase. They don't hold up at all. I wouldn't waste my money on one.

A good leather belt lasts almost forever and they're not $130 or more unless it's a designer brand.

It's ridiculous how they all gasp and carry on about how low their prices are and then, to tell us what they are worth!

Nobody believes any of that nonsense!

When they talk about putting a 1 or a 2 in front of the price, they've left reality!

Let me say that those belts she is selling currently at $36 that are animal print are very cheap- just a print on fax product and look like you bought it from Dollar General for less than $10 . S Graver, how can you peddle such cheap stuff and say it would be $100 elsewhere

I didn't see the show, it's hard to watch SG because she doesn't let the host review the item and colors before she starts talking over them. I noticed some of the host keep her off stage until they review the item and colors. I've shopped for belts lately and agree that there are plenty of nice belts that are much less than $130. !!

@sissy01 of course there are plenty of belts in that price range. I just looked at nordies, and saw belts from 158-18.00. Depends on what you want. Don't even talk about men's belts. Yikes, It depends on the quality of leather, the tanning, the stitching and certainly the label you choose. I am not a belt person at all. You can check Revolve, Saks, neimans, Macy's , the lot. Something for everyone.
susanGraver is why I never watch qvc. Left in 2003 never looked back. But seriously,I doubt she would lie. Look around, just go to each store and put in women's belts.
