Lisa Robertson left QVC at the right time

Lisa left QVC almost 11 years ago at literally the peak of her 20 yesr career and the start of the decline at QVC. She saw the writing on the wall and had to so much of the heavy lifting for their sales and image. The corp heads didnt realize her worth and literally how much she defined QVC. She was smart to realize QVC was going to go downhill because it bevame so big and corporate. Lisa always said the early years were amazing as she loved it and all her friends were there. Unlike other hosts who make a big to do about leaving and return months or a year later. December 2014 was her last day and she never returned to the studio ever again. She was a smart cookie and saw the future.

@rockygems123 and @kaydee50 - I tried to "talk" with this poster years ago, but they didn't respond much. I don't think it's really Lisa, but I would bet she knows about it. Maybe it's someone she encouraged to post, but I really hope she's not involved still.

I was under the impression that a new CEO came in and she resigned. I guessed it was probably due to salary negotiations or something like that.

I hadn't been with QVC that long when she left, so it didn't matter much to me. But I can understand how people who "knew" her missed her a lot.

I think, whoever you are @JONNYSBRO, you're pranking us!

It's been 11 years since Lisa worked at QVC and @JONNYSBRO is still carrying a torch for Lisa. This obsession has gone on way longer than what is considered normal. I agree with previous posters that this person needs some serious therapy. I've worked as a licensed clinician in mental health for over 25 years and I can see it quite clearly that this person needs help. The best way to help is to not respond to any of the posts presented on the forum. If the person gets no attention or rise out of people they wil hopefully go away. This will be the last post I place suggesting that @JONNYSBRO get some serious help and I hope others will do the same. Can't play these games if no one engages. Let's put an end to this for once and for all.

You are exactly right about Lisa. She had said when she first left that Q was going in a different direction and that she had done all she could do.

Lisa was right about a different direction from the mountains to the valley.

Personally as of late Q is trying at least on line to do a little better with "some" products and prices. Nothing near the level of their hayday.

I don't know about being "boring", but the OP certainly seems to be successful in "bothering" other posters, which may indeed be the real goal.

I'll suggest that those disturbed by some silly shopping channel forum posts meant to entertain may also need to seek "help." Why not....

He/she/they can and will continue to post whatever they choose, subject only to the judgment of a real moderator.

@Kachina624 agree with you! Plus LR is laughing all the way to the Bank. She's still selling jewelry and living her best life! Her followers keep buying her products so it is what is. Who really cares about "hosts" they are here doing a job.

She was an excellent host and probably could've had a bigger career. I remember when Kathie Lee Gifford thought Lisa would be a good replacement for her on that morning show with Regis, but the producers didn't like the idea of her choosing her successor.
