Anyone else interested in seeing Duchess Sarah Ferguson/TSV tomorrow?

Not sure what a Fusion Blender is, but guess I'll find out at 9 pm tonight, my time! She has been talking about a nutrition system she now uses (for her healthy weight loss) on diff talk shows the past year - not sure if any blender will do with it, or if it has to be this one.

For years she was a spokesperson for Weight Watchers. I guess she represents whichever weight loss company pays her.

I think she hired a personal trainer and spent a lot of time on herself inside and out and lost weight in the process. I'm sure that weight is a struggle for her as it is for many people.

The British press has always been critical of her weight, size, and clothing so good for her if she wants to sell something aimed at healthy eating.

I always thought Sarah was a rebel and I'm sure living with the Royals was no picnic. I'm not buying any thing she has to offer though, I have a Vita Mix which does everything.

Yes, I can't really figure out how this thing is any different from the other similar blenders on the market, even the ones already sold at QVC. I guess because the base is stainless steel instead of plastic and a duchess presents it? I don't see a need for another blender.

Wondering why everyone is so hyped about S. Ferguson and feel compelled to watch. To me, she is just another human being among many...nothing special. Not going to break my neck to see her. She's just a lady from England to me. But if you are happy, I'm glad for you.

I was interested, and watched the presentation she had with David V. I know she has done some questionable things in the distant past, but I admire anyone who owns up to what they have done, say their mea culpas and don't try to hide from it-and somehow recover & move forward with their lives. I have never been good at that, and tend to hide from the world & lick my proverbial wounds, which is a painful thing to keep up. I can't imagine how painful it is to live in a fish bowl and have every single thing I do or don't do criticized and gone over with a fine-toothed comb.

As for the blender item, it serves a useful purpose & is a good addition to someone's healthy lifestyle goals if they don't already have a great blender, but we've already purchased the bigdaddy of them all, and don't need that one. But that doesn't negate it being a good offering for others. I don't think QVC needs to offer another blender, but there is the draw of people being curious about the duchess & tuning in, then staying around awhile to see what else is on offer. I can see where that would be a benefit. Not all viewers are frequent flier oldtimers like us who may have overshopped Q's offerings (speaking of myself, here!); some are just channel-surfing. Just my .02 cents, FWIW. Glad to see the OP topic, because it was on my mind, too.

Its a real shame that Sarah was pushed out by the Royal Family, and has had to make her own way in the world. Im a Brit, and this is the first family member I can remember who was treated this way. Andrew has stood by her, which is nice, and her daughters are taken care of financially I believe. I feel a little embarrassed for her when she is on TV, but really admire the way she keeps trying to earn her own living. I didnt buy the blender, as I have a Vitamix too. I wish her well.
