USPS Delivery

I recently had something happen that never did before. I ordered a top in August. I kept getting the shipping notices from USPS that it was in line for delivery. It seems to have started in CA, coming to SC. After about two weeks, I got the notice that it had arrived in my local post office. Next day, the notice said it had arrived about 2 hours away from me! I chatted with customer service and that color had sold out so they asked if I would like a refund or a different color. Decided to try a different color, which they immediately shipped. After a month of "traveling", I got the original order AND the new order the next day. The original package showed USPS had put two mailing labels on the package. It went across our country and up & down the east coast! I now have two shirts but liked them so much that I'll keep both: AnyBody Cozy Knit Waffle Henley Top, A678656 in both blue and lilac. That shirt has been sightseeing

It's not just QVC. I've had problems with several orders and deliveries lately.

More the fault of the shipping companies in my cases I believe.

Sorry that happened. I've had packages take a tour of the US, both with the post office and UPS. The label appeared correct, so not sure how it happens. Not often, but it does happen. I ordered something Friday night late, and it's out for delivery today. Yay!

What a trip that top has had! We've had several items go on tours on the way to us! I do a lot of shipping and ordering....the shipping and handling is awful at this point, I feel badly for the companies that are doing the selling and relying on USPS and UPS. I had a medicine delivery-injectibles that require refrigeration-UPS left it beside the mailbox on the roadway in the grass, on an 80 degree day. It was an alternate driver, our regular delivery person would have known better.

Sometimes its USPS messing up, we have a lot of problems with them where I live in Texas....They even caught a group of Mail Carriers stealing mail/packages here!!!

Other times in some parts of the country UPS hands off their deliveries to USPS in a program called MAIL INNOVATIONS, and from there you get delays

Even EBay vendors are using Amazon just to deliver their merchandise!!!

And Fed Ex is absolutely TERRIBLE! Just one example I had auto delivery with Chewy which provides excellent customer service for pet supplies, I wasnt getting my deliveries or they'd deliver them to the wrong address. A Chewy Manager even called Fed Ex to try to straighten things out, it worked twice, but then Fed Rx returned to back their old ways so I had to cancel with Chewy and go with Instacart and Pets Mart and just place a monthly order thru them....and Chewy's was cheaper true. The Manager at Chewy's told me Chewey was thinking of getting their own trucks, which leads me to believe I'm not the only one having problem with Fed Ex deliveries.....

Delivery Service is a big problem....but you go on UPS's

Facebook Page and drivers complain about too much "down time" so its not liked its the Holiday Season and they are overwhelmed, its more liked they rush and make mistakes and dont deliver things right, or like they did to one neighbor, they delivered all the packages for our Condo Complex to her, and she spent her time playing UPS and delivering the packages where they belonged...SMH!!!

No, you are definitely not the only one having problems with FedEx deliveries from Chewy!

After living in the same house for the past 20 years and having no delivery problems from any carrier, suddenly FedEx can't find my house for my latest Chewy order. Chewy is perplexed and has sent out a replacement order after me hassling with FedEx for a week. If there is a problem with that order, I'm done with Chewy. After using them with no problems for many years.

My USPS is fine, great even. UPS is okay, no problems. But FedEx is not. Thankfully Chewy is one of the very few places I order from that uses them. I'm out today looking locally, otherwise I'll be ordering from Amazon instead as much as I hate to.

It was definitely a USPS issue. The other label showed someone entirely different than QVC as the sender. Guessing someone at the post office inadvertently put on an incorrect label on back of the package. Not slamming QVC at all.

We used to have great service from UPS, regular drivers that did a wonderful job, but sadly no more. I think it started when they changed CEO's in 2020!!!

Some insiders say her efforts to increase profits are generating anxiety among drivers.
Tomé's leaner, faster style is ditching tradition and creating a UPS some veterans don't recognize.

I also live in SC, and had the same thing happen a couple of times when packages were sent by the Q via USPS. There was a particular location in Marietta, GA where they got stuck for a couple months. Both finally arrived, but only after I'd been refunded, so I had to call CS and get payment reinstated.

I also have a lot of issues with my local PO in general...they are pretty much useless!

For the last several months, though, Q has been sending my orders via UPS and once UPS actually has them (which can take awhile) I get them pretty quickly.

In the past few months, FedEx has delivered four packages for us to houses blocks from us, and one a mile from us. And this one they sat in the truck in front of our house for about 10 minutes, drove off, and just some guy NOT a FedEx driver came to the door 2 or 3 hours later with the package.

He said the driver dropped the package off at his dad's house a mile south of us just then and ran. He happened there and brought it over!

They delivered 2 to the house next door--and we all have big brick mailboxes with our house numbers in big squares on the front. We also got three of her packages.

Some drivers are wonderful, some just throw stuff around to get it off the truck.

Oh, I used to be able to set my clock by when my UPS deliveries arrived. But as you say, the last few years it's changed. Back when we had the same driver(s) they had said that their whole system had changed. Everything computerized and supposedly streamlined for better efficiency. Instead, it forced them to follow the route the way the computer dictated which was less efficient than letting the drivers do it the way they always had.

I have different drivers all the time now and I never know what time of the day they're coming anymore, but I do at least get the packages. A bit the worse for wear, but that seems to be common now too.😡

She's talking about the post office delivery not QVC.

I agree with you though about not being surprised about QVC.

We live on a rural delivery route. The post office gives me fits sometimes. If packages are due to be delivered on a Friday or Sat, they often don't get delivered until Mon or Tues. I think it's just the mail carrier who is working that day.

I've had this happen to me also. It is maddening to see my item almost here, according to tracking, and then all of a sudden it is sent off somewhere else!

I have much better luck with UPS where I live.

Sounds so familiar--had something(???) that I ordered from the Q. not sure what--but it took bloody forever just being "processed" and then went to my towns post office--literally a few blocks away from me, I could have picked it up------then it went on a complete tour up north then back to my city, then was off to other places for at least a week. Time from when I bought it--one month--prob sent it back too. THAT--is why I don't buy much anymore!!
