Loved him in Butch Cassidy, The Way we Were and Up Close and Personal. He was so handsome and such a good actor! RIP Sundance! He started the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, which is now being moved out of state. Won't be the same...

What a great and fulfilling run, in both life and work.

So lucky and blessed with extra innings.

Appreciate his contributions to the arts and the environment.

I used to always (still) count "Out of Africa" as one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time.

I need to go find out where to stream that one again. I used to own it but my VHS videos and VCR are long gone.

Beautiful cinematography, beautiful soundtrack, beautiful story, beautifully acted by all.

Listening now to Roger Friedman on WOR/Mark Simone show speaking of Robert Redford, and reminding me of many great movies; I should go on a deep dive...

From all accounts a good guy in Hollywood.

I loved his friendship with Paul Newman.

Lost his son to cancer about 5 yrs ago, and "took the wind out of his sails" (as it would), especially at his advanced age, and "was frail after that." No one escapes some pain, personal loss, in this life.

Died peacefully in his sleep. A good run and legacy.

May he rest in peace. 🕯️ 🕊️
