Same old same old

With all the free shipping and "Giftathon" programming, I haven't bought one thing for myself or anyone else. Boring items. Nothing new or exciting to catch my attention. Nothing I "must" have. Today's TSV is another Kim Gravel item. Enough already of Barefoot Dreams and Kim Gravel. Do they own stock in QVC? No wonder their sales are down. How about some high quality, tailored clothing. I don't spend the whole day in lounge clothes.

It must be difficult coming up with one product every day that meets a TSV criteria. Lately the choices seem to be lacking anything special or of value. And I have to believe QVC will air this boring Kim Gravel top hourly until we hear colors and sizes are getting limited. Yesterday it was an expensive ice maker! How many need that sitting on their counter? Maybe there needs to be a MSV (monthly special value) that really is special and a value.

ITA, and it seems the only "fashion" that's always on is Muk Luks, BFD, and Cuddl Duds pjs and loungewear. Not interested.

I have to agree....the repetitive boring "giftathons" are just hard goods with no theme. Pass. I haven't watched in awhile. I don't need another iPad, Halo charger, apples, or vacuum.

And I don't want any jewelry, winter clothes, shoes, holiday decor. or kitchen appliances big enough for a big family.

I doubt there's much of anything QVC could present that would satisfy everyone who posts here.

@Susanp301. I think that Barefoot Dreams woman must live in a back room at QVC. Seems that every day she makes an appearance to sell something. She must be the rep with the most annual appearances. I'm sick to death of her.

I agree, and Kim's stuff is way to expensive for what it is. "Lounge" shirts for 60 bucks? C'mon. I get better in Walmart or Marshalls. Kim is a beautiful woman but her "schtick" is annoying.

The Q needs to stop having all designer clothes and jewelry. Not everyone can afford 70 and 80.00 tops. Seriously! Bring back the older hosts you got rid of because the new ones are too silly and some hard to understand.

It used to be that there weren't many players in town that would offer unique merchandise.

At one time QVC did well because they could afford to stock and promote unique items that could not be found locally.

Now, Amazon is part of the picture. They are bigger, faster and more accessible to the masses.

They also offer many of the same items for lower or the same prices as QVC.

QVC is just hanging on for dear life. They do need some new items. I hope they find something to sell that isn't offered elsewhere that people really want.

Nine times out of ten, you can find what you are looking for on Amazon.

I agree with you 100%. It seems like every time I turn on QVC, it’s Kim Gravelle or barefoot dreams. And now Kim Gravelle has branched out into home furnishings and holiday decor and she’s on so much that I’m just sick to death of her. I find that I watch so much less QVC than I ever did before and I’m buying a lot less because It’s the same old people doing the same old stuff.

Q has been showing the same 12-20 products (or variations of) for years. Their financial status is in the toilet so you'd think they'd make some changes. Instead, they keep doing the same thing over and over and over but expect different results.

Add all of those burning wick items with scents to the list! I could never understand why so few brands and items are on air when you have multiple channels that are on 24/7. Even the TSV is not that special when you save about five dollars...yet it is aired for hours! They compensate for the lack of product with fake host enthusiasm....always annoying. Maybe consider reducing the one and two hour one vendor shows. If you hate VPH items you don't watch. Why not try a show that presents all home decor and have wall art, lamps, florals, storage, furniture, bedding, rugs? And fashion needs an update in color palette. I rarely see deep plums or teals or steel blue to name a few. And why not a baby items show? Or pets? Show some willingness to get away from LOGO, Gravel, Sletkin, temptations. As it is now we are bored, annoyed, uninterested, and not spending.
