I see on the front page of QVC a TSV picture with Dennis Basso and the jacket. Also, the words Dennis Basso Handmade in New York City. No way can this be true.

That slogan refers to his couture line, Dennis Basso, which is all made in his NYC facility:

“Handmade in New York City” being the house’s tag line is the core of this brand and the choice to keep production in New York City assures quality control at the highest level.

But probably not a good idea to use it for the TSV without clarification.

"MADE IN THE USA" clothing is still available, but be prepared to pay through the nose to obtain it.

I used to buy t shirts 20 years ago from a company called "Fresh Produce" . All their clothing was made in the USA. Back then, a t shirt was $45 - which at the time, was expensive. During the health crisis, they shut down their website and just reopened it last year, and a lot of the items are no longer made in the USA.

There is a small boutique clothing store in Monterey,CA that carries only: Made in the USA clothing. I have visited the store every 5 years when I travel there, and I started going to that boutique for over 20 years. Now half of the clothing in the store is made in Lithuania or Greece (The owner refuses to buy any clothing made in China). The other half the clothing is still Made in the USA.

But be prepared, the few items I have found in the last 2-3 years that are still made in the USA have doubled in price.

For: Made in the USA Clothing ====

I have seen linen or cotton pants that sell for $150 - $200 each - just simple pull on style pants.

I have seen t shirt type tops that sell for $ 80 - $120 each - again, just simple style T shirts or linen shirts.

I agree that the advertising presented on Q for the Basso "Handmade in NY City" is DECEPTIVE.

If the coat being offered today as the TSV was indeed made in the USA - the price tag would easily be $500 = $800.
