Lisa was on the Philadelpha evening news today being interviewed regarding a man in her neighborhood who was placing nails and screws under cars of people he disliked for political reasons.

From NBC10 Philadelphia:

"One victim, Lisa Mason, said that a mechanic told her that if she had been driving on the highway one of those nails would have caused a catastrophic blow out.

"It's really sad that you have to wake up in the morning with a flashlight and look for nails and screws," she said.

Mason said that she has never met Dalberg. She claimed that she didn't even know who he was until he was arrested.

"What it does to you psychology is not just you've got to repair a tire, I repaired four. It begins a real process of who hates us so much that they would purposefully vandalize our property. This man wanted something. He wanted there to be a blowout. He wanted there to be harm and destruction within our family," Mason told NBC10."

@Elodie2 Exactly..No yard signs or discussions with neighbors about politics. I had to quit a book club because of political rants by one person.

My hairdresser tends to go off and voice her opinion regarding politics, I just roll my eyes and stick my face in a magazine until she gets the hint.

Pa. man charged with stalking after throwing nails under neighbors' cars

A Bucks County man is facing new charges after prosecutors said he stalked his neighbors and tossed screws and nails under their cars all because he disagreed with who they supported in the race for president.

Yardley resident Alaric Dalberg, 65, was in court where he faced more than one dozen victims that police said he targeted during and after the presidential election.

@UpNorthGorgy Same here! I don't need to have someone do damage to my property due to politics. It's a scary world out there.

That is so interesting, I live in Bucks County close to Yardley and never heard a word about these incidents or his court preliminary hearing.

Unfortunately, if you google my name, it also indicates which political party I am registered with. But people here tend to be very respectful and "not in your face." Very, very few yard signs or car stickers. No need to be in "someone's face" with your political beliefs. And the topic is avoided with folks you do not know. One of the many reasons why we love where we live.

Such a sorry thing to do!! Obviously a gutless person who has to sneak and do bad things. I hate to hear about things like this that affect our overall security and peace of mind.

Same with my former hairdresser she rants and raves, wants to run for office, it's ridiculous to put a captive audience in that position. And she's holding scissors lol.

Went to another hairdresser and really prefer the ranting political hairdresser's cuts better. Think I'm going to change back to her and bring earplugs.

@rockygems123 - I have been going to this same hairdresser for 20+ years, at one place where she used to work the owner of the shop pulled her aside and told her to stop talking politics she was upsetting clients, she did stop for awhile but will try and sneak in some of her views regardless of what the conversation we're having is about.

I just tend to ignore her and change the subject.

Everyone has a right to their opinions but no one has the right to weaponize themselves against another person because of differences of opinion. We need to keep law enforcement involved if we see something, say something.

I never talk religion or politics but I guess you can see what party affiliation googling. A prior coworker talked it ALL the time. You are entitled to your views, but it doesn't make others wrong. Too many crazies out there..........

I am glad they caught him. I hope the judge orders him to restitution for the tires he damaged in addition to any other penalty he gets.
