Minutes ago : Isaac's social media posted that "James Aguiar as the new host for Isaac Mizrahi live! on QVC. Renowned style expert with over 25 years in the fashion industry, James is bringing his impeccable taste and creative vision to your screens."

He will be on at 1 o'clock. Today.

is this farewell from Isaac?

Seems like it. Issac has so many things going on, I'm not at all surprised that he has decided to turn over some of the QVC presentations to another brand ambassador.

Jacqui Stafford also has private clients and handles Isaac's line in Canada as his brand ambassador. So apparently that stays the same (?) as well as her presentations on QVC 2 (?). As of 3 hours ago, Jacqui is still posting Isaac's clothes on QVC.

Interesting. I believe James has had quite a few "style related" jobs over the years, including TV gigs. One show I remember was "The Look for Less," where stylists would help people who wanted to dress up for special occasions by trying to match looks worn by celebrities but using clothing that was more inexpensive and easily accessible.

From what was just said during the show, Isaac is stepping back a great deal.

James will be "co-designer" of the line (which I read as Head of Design) and will make QVC appearances. Isaac says he will still appear on air occasionally.

Interesting but not surprising. He's in his early 60's and seems like quite a busy man.

It's time for him to slow down and maybe enjoy a little R&R. I never heard of this James guy but will look forward to seeing how he does. Yet, another change at the Q, (sigh).

I have some of Isaac's clothes, mostly dresses. I wore one of his lace dresses to my son's wedding.

I watch Isaac's shows to see Isaac, and sometimes Jackie. I like listening to both of them. I highly doubt I will tune in to listen to someone else.

It's all good. Change is the only constant. I think my QVC purchases are going to go way down this year. With all the changes going on there, none benefiting the customers, I am just kind of, "over it."

Isaac definitely has other things going on. His nightclub act seems to be very successful.

His current tour schedule begins early February going through late June. That's the heart of Q's Spring/Summer fashion push, so someone needs to do it.

Good for Isaac!! He deserves to do whatever he wants.

I tuned in and James very nice and very knowledgeable of Women’s clothing!

Truthfully I don’t know how Jacqui Stafford fits Isaac into her busy schedule, traveling back and forth to London and her NYC clients.

She’s probably beyond thrilled having James at the Q!

Isaac definitely has a lot going on. He also sold his line on QVC sometime ago. Who knows what the contract had as his committment. I will miss him. On the whole QVC seems tired to me. All the designers have raised their prices. Yet their lines are the same old thing. Personally I don't care for the heavy days of prepared foods sold. I guess I am just tired of the Q after so many years. It is also apparent a number of hosts will age out, or leave for other reasons. Not sure the Q can hold on to its customer base.

I have alot of Isaac's clothes and I watch his show to see him as he is quite the interesting person. Not really interested in watching without Isaac. Will still look on line for new Isaac items's, but I know my purchasing will be much less than previously.

I can see why Isaac is stepping back from his QVC time as he is talented in other areas and only has so much time. He must be quite bored with the same routine of TV presentation and has more stimulating and exciting endeavors in theator/acting for example. Many good wishes to him and he will be missed Also good wishes for James altho I am not a TV watcher and only watch QVC shows for brands I buy of which Isaac is one of the 4 I watch. As Isaac will not be there I will be satisfied with seeing items under "New" that I look at on line everyday and skip the TV without Isaac.

Jaqui actually has clients, i never bought into that maybe years ago but I think Qi s her main thing now

When designers on the Q step away, I do lose interest in the clothing. Isaac was really a true designer and it was always great just to listen to him. I can't blame him for wanting to cut back, but I will miss him.

Interesting, and not surprising given his busy life. However, I enjoyed watching him and his rapor with certain hosts, Shawn especially. I won't be tuning into his shows without him, just won't be the same.

What does Isaac do in his nightclub act?

PS: I saw the new guy (forgot his name already) introduced this afternoon. I will miss Isaac but willing to give this one a chance. I have a few of Isaac's things and the quality is very good on those items.

Don't care for this guy at all. I am definitely going to miss Isaac. I always looked forward to his shows and have a lot of his items. It just won't be the same. I understand why he is stepping down as he has so much going on for him and is so busy. I wish him all the best, but as I said, I will miss him and his great sense of humor.

I wish Iassac a beautiful life, but I will miss him. He is the only designer on QVC I watch. I enjoy hearing what he has to say so I won't be watching unless he is on. I will be saving money but sadly I will miss Mizrahi
