Maybe it has been done before, but I thought it might be fun to talk about the 'good ol' days' when QVC was a young business & we were new at buying things from a home shopping channel.

I remember Murphy the QVC dog...miss him, he was a sweetie! But way before him, I remember when "Thanks for the Jeffrey" was on, and Judy Kroll. The older white-haired "Didya know..." Steve (not the one who played guitar, the other Steve who always wore the chunky silver bracelet). We used to crack up at his antics, he was funny. I even remember when Mike Rowe (Dirtiest Jobs) was a QVC host. He used to crack us up, as well. Great sense of humor. Mary Beth Roe, JRT...big, epic gold event shows all day long, and the female hosts dressed up in the frontier garb complete with long dresses & sometimes even bonnets. I bet they hated that, lol! I remember when all they seemed to show was Capidimonte porcelain over & over & over again, as well as DMQ with the comparison rings they always used to talk about. The contest wheel they used to spin for lucky random callers.

And my all-time favorite was the 50 in 50 Tour bus that went around the country, finding new vendors. That was when they discovered Quacker Factory. And the glory days with Kathy Levine. The hilarious spots with Rick & Dave King (who is on another network now) dressed in Oktoberfest short-pants outfits, dancing a jig in the halls. Too funny! They also did a funny soap-opera type series of commercials a few years back that were hilarious.

Anyone else want to share their memories? Maybe you'll remind us of things we forgot about a long time ago.
