Some Hosts interject something to the effect that they are not implying to customers to " be cavalier with their money " when it is being suggested to buy more than one of something .

Where's Jane T , she buys more than one of everything or Shawn who "buys " everything in the show

Another big annoyance to me....so much of qvc is all of her product lines and she can't even make the effort to be in studio to present for the most part. Therefore, I make no effort to purchase.

I find that to be arrogant and beyond rude and inconsiderate. It's not funny in today's financial world though I imagine Kim probably thinks she's being clever. Too many people are worried about putting food on their tables for buying 4 or 5 of something to be a consideration. If the hosts are paid enough to buy everything on their show then it is no wonder that QVC's finances are going down the drain. They should hang their heads in shame.

@We rescue cats I found your post interesting as remember watching Shawn on a KG show recently, and the top she was showing she said she bought it in EVERY color! I rarely watch SK but maybe she says this often?

From the few minutes at a time that I watch, I get a sense of desperation from both the hosts and vendors. After watching ShopHQ go out of business and the consolidation of QVC/HSN, it wouldn't surprise me if they were a wee bit worried.

Kim's clothes have become overpriced polyester aka scuba knit. She used to have some nice tops but I don't know what happened, now she has loud prints, lots of gauze...just not attractive

I think that KG's overseas suppliers may be providing her with less expensive fabrics and treatments, as she really isn't going to last with substantial price increases.

I liked the Mykonos Mamma Mia top because it had a lot of model yarn and the colors looked pretty, but when I saw how tight it fit in the bustline on severaln of the models, I was very concerned. Especially if the mixture would shrink with laundering. It also looked a lot like about 6 other tops she has introduced in the last several months that are plain colored with embroidery (machine-done, clearly).

I decided against them.

@KKJ I never watch Kim nor Shawn, but I sometimes catch Jane's shoe shows and she almost always says that she is getting a pair in every color . . . .

@Leahbeth70 It is sort of a "do unto others" thing if we ever want USA goods again. I would love to buy things that last, pay more for them, and give someone a living wage to make them here. I want people to do better, fewer homelss, fewer neighbors and friends at poverty level. People need jobs and dignity.

That is worth paying for.
