They should just sell the stuff all year round. Christmas every day sale. Stock up before it sells out. Plan ahead so you have lot of it for the gift closet. Who knows who will stop by. The endless flashlights are the best. Same with those $500 fake trees. One of those yummy holiday hams will become jerky sitting in the closet.

It's not going to change..the Q is in business to make money. If it didn't bring in a substantial amount of revenue for them, they wouldn't cater to it.

One has to either accept it or move on...it's as simple as that!

I tend to agree that the Christmas shopping stuff does come out to early, however,

those who have large families, or family members in other countries may appreciate it.

I don't have any family so I just change the channel and if I do find I need something, I look online because I like QVC.

The malls are the same, some people start shopping very early because they feel the need. I don't need to but that is just me.

As if all Christmas all the time wasn't bad enough there's the way they do Christmas. The same tired array every year. Year after year. Middle of the road at best. Pure junk at worst. Over and over and then over again.

Yup, it seems like Q is becoming the Christmas-winter wear shopping channel. They always go all Christmasy in August, this year they started in July. I don't watch much of Q on tv but now I'll watch even less until I'm ready to shop for fall. It will give me a chance to re-aquaint myself with H s n.

I HATE that Christmas never ends with QVC - especially for me and others that have NO interest. A good reason that I never watch the Q anymore. If u want to buy Christmas presents - starting October/December - just go to Costco or Costco dot com. Everything is available at low prices and easily returnable if need be. I purchased several gifts on-line last year from L'Occitane dot com (beautiful products that smell great - at reasonable prices). There's no rush to buy junk from the Q. I remember the Q in the "olden" days - when the products were good and the prices affordable. Not anymore.

I guess we are stuck with it! But we can't really by true gifts unless they are Christmas items; if we want the priveledge of a return!
It reminds me of one of my neighbors who puts up their outdoor Christmas decorations while everyone else has mums, pumpkins and Indian corn up! Oh....and they play Christmas music, outside, on a very loud speaker!!!

Even when I watched QVC more often, the whole business of starting Christmas 6 months early was a real turnoff. I guess they have nothing better to sell, so they focus on Christmas. Way to keep me away, QVC. Han and Evine have plenty of more interesting stuff to look at and buy. QVC reminds me of the Christmas Store that I think Sears had going most of the year? It's out of business now I think.

I see LOTS of people here hate Christmas. I feel like they are always showing overpriced food, cosmetics and other high-end things like handbags. ALL the time ALL year.

Christmas is a special and happy time for lots of people. Yes, you need to get ready for it if you really go all out. . . and people love and treasure things others call junk. So, look away. Nobody is forcing you to watch it.

In today's world, with the awful things on tv 24/7, a ceramic Santa is not the worst thing you could come across flipping channels.

It is getting ridiculous. Christmas in July is such a blatant marketing ploy. We should not have Christmas shopping pushed down our throats 6 months in advance. I, for one, turn it off every time it comes on.

According to the most recent information I've read, YES, CIJ is here to stay annually and anything after that if desired by the Q !

Many retailers are actually thinking of carrying Christmas items to some degree all year long now due to economy and the desire to "one up" the next vendor in sales.

Totally agree. Soon it will be Christmas shows and trees on the set all year long. Maybe a 24/7 Christmas Q channel if it brings in that much money.
