I have the TV on in another room and all I hear is Sandra yelling and interrupting. Need to turn it off ASAP!!!

I used Q as background noise for many years, especially in our travel offices-it was on from 730 a.m. until we walked out the door. AND we even had a phone in the waiting area just in case someone wanted to order! This could not happen today, it is too dispruptive.

My living room TV quit working yesterday morning. I must say I've had a peaceful twenty four hours. I have two brand new TVs still in boxes but haven't felt motivated to unpack one and set it up. Maybe tomorrow.....

For me, QVC stopped being a viable source of background noise along about 2010, when the televised product mix became so narrow, repetitive and boring and hosts started to become brash, loud, hard-sell 'entertainers'. At that point, I still watched a couple of shows, but gradually, I stopped turning to QVC very often, and certainly not when I wanted to relax or unwind.

Never understood QVC as "background noise" or "entertainment"!!! Maybe that's why the financial report is so poor--no one is buying!

Actually I don't use QVC as background. I just turned it over to that channel and them remembered something else I had to do and left it on....BIG MISTAKE!

Oh fun, new TV's, which ones did you get? I bought the recent Samsung TV Q 60D QLED 4K whatever the heck that all means.

It's a much better pic than my old Samsung but still getting used to the clarity, much more detailed than the old one.

@rockygems123. 8 bought these two a couple years ago during a good sale. They are small, I don't need a huge TV. One is an Insignia, Walmart brand and the other is a 43" Vizio. I have a Samsung in the bedroom and hate the darn thing. I wouldn't be upset if it cratered.

I did the same thing the other day. It was Susan Graver and a host, I think Sandra, They were constantly talking over each other and it sounded like a nonsensical free-for-all. I turned it off and enjoyed the silence.
