I don't understand why QVC thinks we are so dim that we will buy anything from a celebrity? Lauren Bosworth has a "wellness" line. For real? She "suffered" from vitamin deficiency so she started a company. And Marybeth is gushing over her vitamins and vag wipes and I'm listening to a caller fan girl because she was on TV. In my opinion, QVC is really lowering the bar. These are meh products you can buy in a drugstore for much less. I'm venting because I'm just so tired of being misled about the efficacy of products because there is a celebrity selling them. I'm tired but you don't see me starting a "feel less tired" company! I think I am finally going to give up QVC in 2025. Maybe this presentation was my sign LOL 😂 And, of course, this is just my opinion.

QVC is just offering different types of sales experiences.

It seems that many Americans enjoy buying from celebrities.

You are not forced to shop anywhere, but I happen to like many of the products QVC carries, although they are mainly fashion and jewelry.

In my opinion vitamins do not resolve the poor health conditions many Americans develop from overeating and/or poor diet, lack of exercise, addiction to social media, dependency on drugs, and so forth.

Blaming QVC is silly. Just shop online, and then you do not have to watch what you do not like.

@Lisamartha I don't see you blaming anyone. To me you are expressing an opinion. One I share about celebrities. What do they know because they are famous? I would rather buy from respected companies who have experience and credibility in whatever field it might be.

I never heard of Laura Bosworth.

QVC is a shopping channel. I don't know the celebrity woman who is selling the product and I don't care. If the line looks interesting and I check it out to see if it is worth a try than that is my informed decision. I love when new products are introduced even if there is a known celebrity. It makes no difference to me. if the product is worthwhile I may decide to purchase. People are not as foolish as you may think.. nor is QVC. I would guess most people are not looking at the celebrity to determine whether to purchase or not. Sounds like you did purchase because of a celebrity and were misled. An easy lesson learned for you. Maybe time to move on.

I watched the top of that hour with Mary Beth, with--whoever that person was--say she could almost cry about why she started her line---was pretty sappy---and am another one who isn't impressed with any celebrity based product----

I'm not familiar with Lauren Bosworth, but I don't see anything wrong with different product lines being presented and offered by the Q - celebrity or no celebrity.

You may not like the product, but there are many out there that do and will make a purchase.

For those who were wondering who Lauren Bosworth is. She was on the tv show Laguna Beach and also The Hills. These were on MTV in maybe the early 2000's? I never watched Laguna Beach, but I loved The Hills. They were both reality tv shows.
