Guaranteed By Christmas?

I placed two orders on Tuesday, the 17th. One is still "preparing," and the other has a delivery date of the 26th. 🤬

I ordered the HSN TS on 12/14. The pkg originated in TN, then on to CA where it made 7 stops, before crossing the state line into AZ. I might get it today or tomorrow!

It's not only Q. I placed an order at Kohls on Dec.10. Estimated delivery date was 16. Just tracked it with UPS and it hasn't even shipped yet 10 days later. All it says is shipping label has been created but carrier has not yet received package. Bah humbug, what a big fail. This was an order for two pajama sets for my granddaughter, and now I won't have it. I'll have to save the pajamas for her birthday I guess.

For many gone are the good old days when you went into a store and brought home your gifts. I still do that and all my gifts are wrapped and ready. Relying on stores and the mail is risky unless you plan way in advance.

IMHO, everything ordered from Q after Dec 1st may or may not arrive before Christmas...no matter what Q says.

I sure hope it gets to you on time. If it was me, I wouldn't hold my breath.

If you wait until late, it may or may not get there. It's a fact. More so with QVC it seems by the yearly dustup afterward, but it is what it is. Order early.

I ordered something (not from QVC or HSN) on Monday Dec 16th. It shipped the next day on the 17th but UPS says the delivery date is December 30th. It doesn't matter because it's for me but I think UPS is backlogged.

Kohls is the worst. I stopped ordering from them years ago. My daughter needed a dress by mid November one year (she was little). Found one we liked and ordered way before needing it (over a month). It did ship but after that, no information. Called Kohls, they couldn't tell me what happened where it was, etc.

I was done shopping for others before Thanksgiving. However, when my sister had emergency heart surgery at the beginning of December, I ordered several items, including two small gifts from the Q on Dec. 6.

One arrived from North Carolina on Dec.17 at 7:00 p.m. I am in SE PA. The other package, from Florida, showed up on informed Delivery this morning as Out for Delivery by 9:00 p.m. It is Dec. 20. I ordered replacement gifts from Amazon last week when I realized the gifts were delayed or lost. I would worry about some of the quaranteed Dec. 25 delivery promises made in the last few days.

I have received rather quickly some items ordered for me. But it has been understandably hit or miss delivery this month.

I got my shopping done in Oct but there were other things I decided on recently and have to say--shippping has been pretty fast. Geez, I ordered a pair of turq earrings by Jay King at HSN--as an after thought-- this past Monday, and got them yesterday--what???!! Have nothing left to come but was pretty much floored at that!!

I also finished shopping early as I usually do but I have ordered a couple of items the past few days, of course they are not gifts, they are for me and I won't cry if I get them after Christmas. But sometimes it does surprise you and they get delivered. I had one of them ship two days ago and it's out for delivery today Don't give up hope!

@CalminHeart. I've received every single thing ive ordered since December 1st except the package that's out for delivery today.

I think Q shipping has been fantastic.

@Sooner - both of the items were new the day I ordered.

I ordered something from QVC the first week of December. I got updates that it was shipped, and was given an estimated delivery date, but then suddenly it was "delayed" no details given. After two or three days with no update, I took the advice of many here and emailed the social team. They got back to me quite promptly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my order was "lost" somewhere in the shipping process, so they processed a refund. You really have to order early, because of the loosey-goosey way they ship.

Thanks again to the social team. I still would not know my order was lost if I just checked "order status."

I would not trust qvc to get it to you before Christmas. Judging from the many complaints in years past their track record is not good.

Retailers make that promise every year and sometimes they're even able to keep it. I will say, I've received everything I ordered from all sources, including QVC. Anything I might order at this point will be with the expectation that it will arrive after Christmas.

@Kachina624 I have to agree with you. Shipping forme from QVC has been great, and so much better then other years.
