There isn't one show I'm interested in watching in July. My savings, Q's loss.

Hopefully this isn't a duplicate post. I couldn't log in and who knows what happened to it.

I agree. That Christmas in July stuff becomes unbearable for me. Can't even stand the thought of it. I am not, admittedly, a Christmas person. I'll be far, far away from the TV.

I must agree. I am a Christmas person, but around the normal holidays, after Thanksgiving.

QVC (and other retailers) do sicken me with all of this merchandizing long before the real holidays. But of all, QVC is the most sickening, and I never watch nor purchase from their Christmas shows in July or even during the real holidays. I get so mad at what they do in July that I don't watch at all during the winter. I aldo don't care for their pitiful and repetitive selections for Christmas gifts. Also, I really get sick and tired of the hosts saying we should buy this and that for the postman, the delivery guy, the teachers, etc. over and over, etc. It's all a drag so I avoid QVC for all Christmas needs.

The way programming is going these days, I'm beginning to avoid much of what is offered unless it is a vendor or product I really desire.

QVC just doesn't satisfy as it did in days gone by.

I was REALLY disappointed in the July Insider! I use to purchase nice Christmas gifts in advance on ez pay and then they were paid off before the holidays. I just didn't see anything that took my eye!

I agree. Most of the holiday decor is outdated and not worth my money. I honestly don't buy much if any decor any more. I have invested enough money over the years and I pretty much stick with the same theme every year. I like it and I'm not changing out anything for the latest in trend colors. I don't like Christmas in July either. That fad is going away. Not many people want to think about Christmas right now. It's summer!!!!!

And unless I miss my guess, you're not likely to when they get to their actual Christmas programming either. It seems to me they've been stuck in a rather serious rut, offering up the same rather lame merchandise for the past four or five years. If the stuff they offered up during their recent jewelry sortie to Italy is any indication, then the song remains the same across the board. There's nothing new in Q-ville to get excited about. They seem to be challenging even themselves to see just how mundane they can become. And really, they've already taken it to a whole new level.

I agree that the July Insider is a disappointment. The Philosophy Christmas in July shower gel set does not include even one new scent. Some are summer scents. I used to enjoy CIJ enough that I would take a day off of work, and settle in with my two cats for a fun day. The products were for the the most part unique. All of that has changed.

Not a fan of CIJ! Was bad enough when it was just one day, but now it has spead and spread to the whole month. Oh and here's my favorite part: When the hosts tell you that you'd better be on the lines now to get your selection or you will miss out on the quantity they have available to ship out RIGHT NOW, and you will have to go on (oh, horror) ADVANCED ORDER! Like you're going to need that Christmas tree, or that lawn snowman, etc. in the next 4 months!

Start counting the months of Christmas programing . July then a little in September than full force October November and by the time December comes your ready to pull the plug on the TV or pull your hair out. They sell all the left over junk in December thinking people are desperate to get shopping done. No thank you I will go to a store saves on shipping.

HI, I did not receive my July insider magazine either so I called customer service. They told me that a copy would be sent out to me.

I am going to call again, I want to make sure that I have not fallen off of the mailing list.

Right now l'm incredulously watching a Christmas in July segment on Q Plus. They're selling CHRISTMAS TREES on the FOURTH OF JULY!! The word "ridiculous" doesn't even come close to describing this! "What a TURNOFF," I'm thinking, as l TURN OFF the tv.
