But it's called Luxe Gift Gala this year, with Shawn, Alberti, and Dennis Basso.

Shawn's Facebook post today:

"Well well well ... two handsome devils w a lady on their arm, giving "Dynasty" vibes for this year's Luxe Gift Gala on Thurs Dec 5 at 8pET. Count. Me. Innnnnn.

Dynasty vibes??? Does that seem like a very dated and tone deaf reference to anyone else? Just my opinion.

That's a great picture of the three of them. Shawn's hair has really grown; I like it.

@Citrine1 Her hair there is longer than it was on TV today. So maybe she got a haircut after the picture or she is wearing hair extensions on the picture.

Agreed @ellaphant, but his fake fur at QVC I like, throws are nice. Alberti and Shawn not watchable to me, so I'll pass on the show, but I'll check the merch online.

@Denise65 I think there was a Dynasty reboot recently. I didn't watch so I don't know what the clothing. looked like. The old Dynasty, I thought the clothing was very matronly or I guess certain old people clothes. Don't like them.

Hmmm. I like the idea of the show returning, but whether you are a fan of Shawn or not, there is just nothing "posh" about her or her style. I can see the vibe a bit more with Alberti, but I think there are at least three other female hosts that would be better picks.

Dennis Basso Home is the TSV on December 5th, so it's likely his annual holiday throw that many look forward to (including me.)

Maybe he’ll have all New colors and patterns.

Maybe a Deep Russet or Berry Sangria, which they say is all over the runways and in Europe.

The program guide shows quadruple hosting for the "Luxe Gift Gala":

Alberti, Mary, Shawn and Jane. Add in Dennis and that's a lot going on!

Alberti AND Jane? That's 2 reasons not to watch.

Last time it was shown as an elegant setting with elegant clothes. Looks like it won't be this time.

I don't remember much about what was offered before when they had these shows. I will tune in. Alberti is a good choice to be a host for this show.
