Writing a Review

I wanted to review a product I just purchased, but I don't see a button or anything to let me start the review. I have written many reviews before, so I don't know if the process has changed, or if I am just overlooking the button for getting started. Thanks for any help with this problem.

There's a button on your Order Status page in your account.

I also noticed on the product page in the reviews area there is "Review This Product" and below that are five blank stars. If you click on how many stars you want to give it, it brings up the review process.

This method only seems to work if there are already reviews on the product. In that case, I guess you'd have to go through your Order Status page to review.

I have never left a review. Would my nic be used or is there a chance to change it there?

Your avatar name @tansy would appear in the review if you wrote one. I don't believe there's a way to change that.

I don't want to change my nic in the forums, @geezerette. I would prefer a different nic for any reviews I might post. Thanks.

I would also like a different name when I post reviews. Gives it more anonymity. Having my forum name on any review I write is not exactly how I'd like it to be.

@Kcubed You're right. There appears to be a glitch with a few of the items, not most, but I have definitely come across this today.

I wanted to leave a review and there is no way to do so. The star selections are gone, and there is no "Write a Review" on the item status page either. The review option is gone entirely for the item in any way.

Example: Tried writing a review for Laura Geller's set of 4 Palettes -- A673576. Some Reviews are there, but no way to write a new one today.

Mods, can you assist with alerting IT?

Maybe try clearing browsing history and delete cookies. Sometimes that will help 'glitches'.

@SilleeMee It's so weird. I'm only getting that with beauty items that I tried to review. There's nothing there offering a review.

But fashion or accessories items I tried are fine -- those I can review

I used to leave reviews. Now after a purchase QVC emails me "inviting" me to leave a review.

I don't respond. I want freely written INDEPENDENT reviews. I don't believe that is the case with QVC anymore.

What's wrong with QVC asking you for a review of a purchase you made? How is it different from you going in and leaving a review on a purchase you made @IMW ?

@IMW - You can still choose when to leave a review.

I leave very few reviews but when I do, I use my forum name. I don't see a need to change it.

@IMW If QVC invites you to do a review, you are not required to do it. It is only an invitation that you can choose to accept or not. If you don't want to leave a review, simply delete the message. No need to feel pressured or to misinterpret. If and when you do want to leave a review, just do it. Or not.
