We are looking to upgrade our Bethlehem Lights window candles with the newest version. HOWEVER, the price is $59.98, just TWO CENTS short! Argh! So no dice this time. We'll just hope for a price reduction, because we have to order 3 more sets.

I'm not taking advantage of the coupon, believe it or not, LOL! The one item I may have purchased has a $7.50 shipping fee which brings the discount down to $7.50, if it was FS I might have purchased.........I also spent some money yesterday on HSN so I need to step away from shopping again..........it was all jewelry yesterday at great prices so I couldn't help myself, of course.

Yesterday I bought A70620- Women With Control dress in black; I already have the berry version of this dress and it's a beautiful fit, so I thought the black would be great. It was on sale plus the coupon and also free shipping (the Tues. deal thing they've started), so it was a good deal. Today I used the coupon for A679469-"As Is" Pom Pom London leather bum bag (I will wear it like a sling bag) in royal blue. It was exactly $60 and I'm not afraid to try "as is;" I've done very well with that on different things, so again a good deal, I thought.

I was going to buy 3 of something but it sold out. *sigh* I have something else in my cart but I would have to get another thing to get over the limit. We shall see. I might get the one thing anyway even w/o a coupon. I really dislike paying shipping.

I ordered a couple of food items. I've always wanted to try the Squirrel Brand toffee almonds. They're on a Black Friday price.

And I combined that with a set of Moonstruck Hot Chocolate, that will be a Christmas gift for a friend.

Free shipping on both. I was going to order the Squirrel Brand anyway, so it's like getting the Moonstruck for about $4.00. Works for me!

I bought 2 sweaters on sale , would not have bought at regular price .

That being said , I'm not a big fan of the unexpected coupons or the flash free shipping or the expiring prices during a particular aired showing . Would prefer more notice as a customer so I can purchase wisely using the discounts . I think QVC is trying out different sales strategies to keep meeting their sales quota and move merchandise by flash discounts .

I didn't buy anything until ..... yesterday evening. Free shipping and the coupon strategy worked on me.

I purchased two sets of Mercury Glass Hurricanes for gifts. I was four cents short of $60. before tax.

I added another set to my cart.

Second order was two large jars of Josie Maran Whipped Argan cream as gifts.

There was an item I wanted and was waiting for a free shipping day. Well, once free shipping came, the item I wanted was sold out. This has happened more than once to me. I guess I didn't want it that badly, but I am disappointed.
