Two JR petite tops today were "28. I'm 5"1 and slender. They would be much too

long and make me look shorter. No thanks.

ITA, the perfect length for me is 24 inches, or have a banded bottom, which I haven't seen in ages.

I would really like a selection of shorter tops. Many of us are in the five foot range and the tunic lengths typically do not work on most of us short people. What QVC calls a "petite length" -- just isn't. Ultimately, it is all in the sales data and I think QVC might like that data if they made stylish tops that were actually proportioned for short people.

I have the same problem with tops being too long even petites sometimes. I wish they would have t-shirts in petite I have a problem with t-shirts being too long and makes me look 10 pounds heavy with all the material. I have always had that problem. I did get some petite t-shirts from Shophq that are Christopher and Banks and they fit and look better on me but they are just plain nothing special but works for quick errands or when I playing and watching my grandson.

I've said this a hundred times before......

Some Petite items in some brands are only 1 and 1/4 inches shorter than Regular.

I always say/ask: 'Why bother'?

I'm not a Petite, but I do feel sorry for petite gals who are watching and long tunic difference is only 1 and 1/2 inches or 1 and 1/4 inches shorter than Regular lengths.

Imo, the difference should be 3 or more inches shorter.

When I find a top that I really like I might bring it in to the cleaners and have them hem it a bit for me which is ridiculous when you think about it!! This year more than ever I'm pretty much over the tunic top.

As mentioned, a petite length is usually only 1 1/2" shorter! Why don't they make it at least 3" shorter? One and a half inches makes no sense. Even the sleeve length on long sleeve petites can sometimes still be a bit too long.

When I was sick for a few weeks over the summer, I started watching YouTube videos on fashion for fall and a lot of them were saying that tunics were on the way out and shorter tops were more on trend.

Once in a while I will find something here that is a bit shorter. Recently I purchased the Stacy London pull over velvet hoodie that fits me perfectly! It comes just to my hips and the long sleeves look like it was made for a petite.

On a average QVC tops are way too long. Certainty longer then what you see in mall. I won't buy any top that is longer then 25". I check out the length first. QVC also doesn't offer petite tops. There will for dresses (some skirts that are rarely shown) and pants. But that's it. QVC clothing is to conceal. Long tops to cover your bottom, elbow length sleeves to cover arms, long dresses to cover knees. Never mind that the models show their knees. And most viewers are happy about that. That's why it doesn't change.

I am only 5'3" and would never buy a 28" top.

TOO short for me!

I have a short torso....so the longer the better to give the illusion I am not so stubby! LOL

Everyone is different, plenty of items to choose from here and everywhere, thankfully.

I'm what I would consider tall at 5'8" and 28" would be too long for me. I don't usually purchase anything from the JR line because they seem too bulky over the tummy/hip area. If it's something I could use as a jacket, I may consider it but, as much as I love pockets, they just add more bulk to the oversized tops. Those longer tops seem to work well with leggings and can cover things that should be covered but I don't wear them. Good luck in your search but I don't think the JR brand is made for petites.

If I have the option for petite tops, I always go with petite. Not too many vendors seem to offer it anymore. I just paid $28 to have a WWC top made shorter; I think she's taking a good 3" off. I won't make that mistake again.

One of the reasons why I order from J.Jill over QVC. Not everyone wants to wear a 30" top. Then just buy a dress! Once it passes a certain length, the way the garment hangs looks awful.

At 5'8" and plus size, I need at least a 30" top to feel comfortable in it. But I get that length is much too long for the shorter gals.

I'm also 5'1". All tunics make me look dumpy, heavier, and wider.

@roeroe1005 - I buy most of my tops from J.Jill beause they offer a wide variety of petites and the fit is good for me. I'm wearing one from them right now. I also order petites from Lands' End.

I miss Candace Cameron Bure's line, since her tops were always a good length for me. I know most people are glad she is gone due to her values, etc. and my post will get bashed. She recently posted on Facebook that she is working on bringing her clothing line back, but not to QVC and will post updates.

Appleseed's has many petite tops and some of them are 23" long. Their quality is very good and they often have sales.

I miss her clothes. She was my favorite vendor at QVC. I hope she'll offer them online.
