QVC no longer with Comcast/Xfinity?

I went to turn on QVC this am and it re-directed me to a 3rd party app. Same with HSN. Its free but it doesnt seem to be part of my regular channel lineup anymore. Anyone else?

@Karie2022 oh wow! That would've freaked me out! I have directv and only watch like that. I wouldn't watch if I had to go online. I hope this is just a temporary thing with your provider.

Comcast?Xfinity is raising rates on so many channels. ShopHQ was off the air for a while when they go through contract negotiations.

They are deadly for with the rates as they know they have a monopoly.

They may come back.

Sorry that you are having an issue and I hope it is resolved soon. I have Comcast Xfinity in Philadelphia and I am still getting HSN and QVC and QVC 2 & 3.

@Karie2022 ...yes. Same thing happened to me in the Boston area. I thought it was just a weird glitch with Comcast......but maybe not. I did find it only happened if I spoke into the remote. When I plugged the channel number in, it brought me to the QVC channel, not the app.

So maybe it is just a weird glitch afterall?

@Emma Bunting I was just going to write the exact same thing! This happened last night on one of our TV's. Usually I just go to "last" and QVC and QVC2 are among my frequently watched channels. Last night it had come out of the "last" lineup, so I spoke it into the remote as you and @Karie2022 did . I saw the 3rd party app message come up and backed out. I was only doing a "Q check" anyway. When I went to bed QVC was in the "last" lineup on that TV, so I had no problem clicking it and QVC came right up.

Same with me-it said 3rd party when speaking into the remote but went straight to the channel when I entered the numbers.

I am in MA, near Worcester. It only takes me to the app only when I use the voice remote for QVC. Clicking on QVC from the channel lineup screen takes me right to the channel. When I use the voice remote for Q2 or 3, it takes me right to the channel.

I have XF and my Q channels and HSN are are coming in just fine, I am in MD. We even get HSN 2 here

We no longer get Shop LC, and we got SHQ back but it is now known as Ideal TV on XF on Ch 1098.

used my xfinity voice remote......no problems with QVC, QVC2, QVC 3 in the baltimore area.

Yes, the issue seems to be in the Voice Remote. I actually had no idea what channel QVC was on so i had to look it up in the Guide. I got so used to using the Voice command. Odd that would happen out of the blue. It was totally fine yesterday.

@emma bunting , same here and we are in Pa. We tried saying "find QVC channel" in the remote and it worked. Same with HSN. Just plain weird. We thought about calling, but decided not to get our blood pressures up to hear the usual "we're sorry for......." c r a p. We'll just add the word "channel" from now on.

That's one company we both abhor calling as many times, no one can help you, plus trying to talk to someone we can understand is frustrating.

I have comcast?xfinity. When I speak to the channel I am directed to a app for QVC and HSN. I can then select what I want to view. If I imput the channel physically it will go to the channel.

Yes, same here, but if you say 'QVC CHANNEL' it will take you directly to QVC. I have no idea why it changed, but if you only say QVC, it will take you to an app where you can still get to QVC it's just a few extra steps.
