They've added more "Activity" history, but...

I just realized that when I click on my nickname, and it takes me to what I thought was only my history of threads I've started here, they've apparently added "View All" at the bottom of those. When I click on that, it gives me 6 pages of my posting history!

The problem is, there are ONLY 6 pages, and I have thousands of posts. The dates of the previous posts are scattered all over the place, including all the way back to my VERY FIRST POST in 2012, but nothing in the recent 4 or five months.

I don't know how they decided what to import from our old activity or how, but I'm seeing stuff I haven't seen in years, and nothing I've posted on other people's threads since yesterday... only threads I started.

So maybe they're trying to fix it, but they've got a LONG WAY TO GO!

I think the problem is that, instead of deleting OLD threads with the new board, they deleted a lot of the newer threads. I cannot even think of why it would be done that way. So, as a consequence, a lot of peoples' newer posts were deleted along with it.

I am, thanks, and hope you are too! These six pages of posts seem to be selected by some totally unknown arbitrary means... it's so strange. Six pages contain so few posts, and the dates are not over a certain time period or anything logical that I can see. It's like someone threw up the old "pick up sticks" and just picked one here and one there and stuck them in the "Activity". Oh well, I guess we'll see what continues to happen! (I still HATE these emoties!)

Yes but it only includes the threads that you started. At least on mine it does not include the threads that I responded to. They need to add that so that we can find our way back to what we are interested in efficiently.

Mine is the same. It includes threads I have started, and posts that have been "hearted", and that's it.

faeriemoon and Shawnie, when you look at the threads you started, just below that, do you see the words "View All" and a small black arrow to the left just under the last thread title? The words are very small... if you see that, click on it and it should give you more posts. I just clicked on your name, faeriemoon, and did that, and it showed me some of your previous posts.

They make things so small they're just not noticed... I only saw this because of what another poster had said.

When I click on View All, all I have are 4 pages of thread I started (didn't realize I started that many threads all these years!).

Under that is posts that people have "hearted"

None of the posts I've posted on the last 24+ hours are in my activity feed.

Unless they are rolling it out by name alphabetically and they have not gotten to me yet.

ITA that the emoticons are pretty lame. Makes the last ones look good. ha! And I had complained that the old ones were lame.

Here's a birdie pic for you. I took it recently where I have a whole thing set up in my backyard, on top of the hot tub and this one cutie was taking a bath in one of the water bowls -

Love this! I have three bird baths around my back patio, and a family of very large fat robins who just love taking baths! I so enjoy watching them enjoy the water - it's been in the high 90's here this week, may hit 100, so I try to keep their "bathtubs" full. They're also for the other little backyard creatures, my chipmunks and squirrels!

Aren't birdies great? I love to watch them, too. I sometimes take 50 to 100 pictures a day. It's the only hobby I really have anymore. I do ok, considering I'm usually shooting from a distance, through the kitchen window. But it's better than nothing!

I wish I saw chipmunks too. Every now and then I see a squirrel - yeah, one! But s/he is usually just passing through. I'm in the middle of a neighborhood. I lucked out a couple of times and got quick shots of a squirrel, but not lately.

Thanks, Faeriemoon! I just love taking their pics. This guy/gal was so cute with that indignant look and the spikey hair. I love seeing birdies take a bath and get a spikey hairdo! Then they fluff all up and I try to get those pics too, because it's really cool.
