Step up your style!

Sorry all of you Julia Cearly fans, but this girl really needs to step up her style. She looks like a teenager hanging out with friends (in the '70's).

Not professional at all.

Not a Julia fan, but I'm sure the Q has a dress code. Most employers do. But, Julia isn't working in a high powered office, where you better look like a show pony. Q staff often dress very casually, except for special presentations.

If her attire and appearance is okay with them, then Julia is just being her authentic self. I think it's a positive trait, when people stay true to themselves. We're so often forced not to.

She's wearing a Studio Park item from Amy Stran which was featured during the show, so obviously it's something approved and endorsed.

Hosts rarely "dress up" in professional office attire for Gourmet Holiday shows.

I get your point, and the '70s comment was funny. However, I think about some of the "outfits" I've seen hosts wear and don't think Julia is any worse. The hosts of the fashion shows often mention being dressed by a stylist.

@RescueLover - I'm glad that the hosts wear what they sell. Makes sense to me.

You're probably right and I could have worded it differently. It's just my opinion and if others don't agree then that's their opinion. Didn't mean to stir anything up.

Who looks professional these days at their job? I know I don't. I probably resemble Julia more than anyone else on the days that I do go into the office. No one dresses up for work anymore post Covid. We pretty much come schlepping in in our jeans and sneakers, go into our office and shut the door. I think the Pandemic rewired our brains. Office life isn't what it used to be and I'm just fine with that.

@San Antonio Gal We have a dress code here at work too, but no one adheres to it. And I work for commercial lending at a pretty successful Bank.
