Has anyone been having problems with shipping lately? I had 2 items returned before I could even see them! I went to the post office and things seemto be taking longer to get to me all of a sudden...even with UPS?

There's a newish company transporting parcels between terminals that very slow and seemingly inefficient. They also lie. They recently held one of mine for 6 days. The last outfit that did this was also bad so it's hard to decide which was worse.

Everything eventually arrives.

@Marciirene - I'm sorry you're experiencing shipping issues; most of the time, it seems these types of problems are region specific even more than they are courier specific. For comparison, I ordered 10 items during the free shipping event last weekend and have already received five of them, with three more scheduled to arrive tomorrow and two on Saturday (the latter are coming via USPS while all the rest came via UPS). Most of the items came from a hub a few states away, but a few came all the way across the country (including two of the items already delivered). I hope things get better for you!

What I found interesting was usually HSN come quickly. I bought many items from both QVC and HSN on free shipping Saturday. I received all my QVC packages today. My HSN packages show they've shipped but aren't expected for several days, one even next Thursday.

@Etoile308 - Pretty much the same with me. I got one of my QVC orders today. (A second order only shipped today.)

The order from HSN finally says it's shipped, but no sign of it yet.

I'm a bit concerned about a My Grandma's coffee cake I ordered yesterday. It says it's shipped today and expected delivery is Saturday. Well, UPS doesn't deliver on the weekend here.

It's the pineapple/coconut (moist!), so if it doesn't get here tomorrow, it will sit in the warehouse till Monday, then on a van all day (we usually get deliveries late afternoon, being rural). I only ordered this same coffee cake once years ago and it arrived smashed in half. I loved the half I could eat, so I thought I'd try it again.

Thank you so much everyone...this has been happening within the past 3 weeks. All of a sudden, I was told by the post office to put a hashtag and my post office box number after my name and then my physical address. I changed all my shipping addresses. I hope this helps. I have a few packages coming from QVC with the new shipping address. Fingers crossed 😆!

All my QVC free shipping items (several) have been received.

The 1 thing I ordered from HSN shows shipped but still hasn't even been picked up yet for 2 days.

That's almost a week and it hasn't even left yet.

Not that I care, I would never order from either anything I was in a hurry for...just pointing out a comparison in shipping.

I signed up for Q text notices and removed it after I received a supposed USPS message that a label was illegible and I owed $0.2 and to put in my CC number to have it delivered? I deleted it as thought it could be a scam. Very Strange.

I have a Bernini barrel fountain received to UPS center on May 29. My delivery was to be here last week and now I got a On Its Way... Sitting somewhere . At least not lost?

I have had two different UPS deliverers. My regular said yesterday they are rerouting and he is going to places he never delivered. Mentioned AI and patted his tech delivery remote. I live 1 1/2 hours from decent shopping so order on line alot.

Postal Carriers seem to be taking vacation by me it seems and mail comes after 8 pm instead of 3 or 4 pm with substitutes. stamps and I assume rates to go up next month again.

Wait it out and hope items arrive. My summers are so short as it is.

Well - I got the My Grandma's coffee cake that I ordered. It was scheduled for delivery by UPS on Saturday, which they don't do here.

No need to worry! It was marked "Food - Perishable" and what do they do? Go right past my house and drop it off at the local post office!

I didn't want it sitting there overnight, so I drove over and picked it up myself. The postmistress said that they drive up in their big trucks and dump loads of boxes off at the (very small, rural) post office.

She said "They have these big trucks and we only have small vans. And they drop these huge boxes for us to deliver. Stacks of them." I told her it's the retailer's way of "saving money".

My coffee cake is delicious though and arrived in good condition.

Not so for the set of Blue Jean Chef knives I ordered - still in transit from California. Got an email that because of "conditions" they would be delayed. EDD of the 22nd. No idea what the conditions are.

Also, HSN item not expected until the 18th. Possibly!

@Marciirene I had that happen to me once. I am very patient with my qvc orders, even though I still remember when they would arrive like clockwork, 4 days after I placed my order. Now I get some things 1 or 2 days later, others take weeks. My suspicion when that happen with the return of items I never received is that they sent them to someone else, and they made that poor person return them. I know I have received packages with labels addressed to me, but the receipt and contents are for someone else. QVC always asks its customers to return these packages, which I think is wrong, we do not work for them. If they "broke" it (so to speak), they should fix it, not the customer.

Other times, I think the package/item was lost or damaged. This happens with Amazon, they are more transparent.

I had a strange shipping issue. I was supposed to receive a Berni Whiskey Barrel Fountain shipped May 28 over two weeks ago. The tracking popped up EXCEPTION which I thought strange.

I called CS and was told it was likely lost or damaged and she Reshipped my order. I mentioned such a short summer as I have a frost MidSeptember. She kindly sent it expedited which I thought was nice. That was on UPS not Q. I asked if by chance it came and is a large bulky item would I have haul it and she said to call and UPS will pick up. Good CS this time.😊

Southern CA is experiencing 14,000 acre wildfire right now. so that could easily be the cause.

but then again, maybe not?????

Shipping is unreliable and boxes arrive without a return label. Quality Value and NOT Convenient. Probably why Qurate stock, their parent company, has a chart with a downward sloping chart. Amazon is a much better way
