Looks like QVC is making everyone wear a helmet when they peddle around the studio, lol, even though you can't fall over.

Alberti with his helmet, pink shirt,and big grin riding around is pretty amusing.

@Packersfan1265. If they didn't set an example by wearing helmets, there would be a barrage of complaints here and on social media complaining about it.

Yes, those trikes can tip over. Also, they could be hit by a car, sending the biker flying.

Trikes can tip over very easily if the ground is not completely flat and even. That makes them more dangerous than bicycle on that type of terrain.

Nice if you live in area that has bike paths and/or sidewalks. Not in my town.

Also, if you bike to a store where to you park it and secure it from thief. Just a thought.

@Mi47 I agree. I can see these in retirement communities or urban settings where shopping and restaurants are nearby in planned communities. Not around here though. Very hilly and a lot of drivers don't respect bikers. Not a lot of bike paths or even lanes here.

I wonder if these migh replace the golf carts folks like to drive around their communities. Golf carts aren't street legal. Probably wouldn't make the teens happy, but they're not supposed to be driving those carts anyways.

I have ridden on many years ago on vacations in Florida and Delaware, they are fun to ride. But they were not electric ones

I would love to have one of those for going down to the drugstore. Nice basket in rhe back. I done think I'd be able to ride on the sidewalk, though. If I had a bike lane, that should work.

Rick looked hilarious last night on the trike with helmet. I actually own an electric bike that came with an excellent helmet. Mine is a two wheeler with off road tires at a much better price. This bikes price is ridiculous. That said, electric bikes are so much fun, especially when your legs tire or are going uphill. They are very popular here for both young & old. My advice is to get a step through model, unless your 14.

@MrsBrianne Wow! That's a pricy bike- I can't afford a bike, but I go for long walks or take the bus to different places. I hope those who buy it enjoy it for exercise and getting out and about .

@Gorgf I bet it did! I think that the people who bought the bike TSV will enjoy the balance of three wheels and the cardio workout of riding a bike. Ride on and have fun, TSV bike purchasers!

I live in NY and would be afraid of getting it stolen from me while using it. They should have warned people about the flammability of those batteries. In NY we have had many fires in houses and garages from from bicycle and scooter batteries.

I was watching a few years ago and Shawn was demonstrating riding on a hover board ( I think that's what they were called) they were all the rage several years ago. She was zipping around, and fell off.

I can see why they are promoting safety.
