If QVC wanted your opinion...what would you decide?

I know what I would say, but if given the choice, would you prefer to have Hosts continue to show items, or would you rather have Vendors? I know right now they are very short staffed, but I have watched some of the Vendors shows and they seem to be OK, of course like most here I have my favorite Hosts, and those I do not watch anymore or mute. But was just wondering how you all feel about going to Vendors only or staying with Hosts.

I would say it depends on the vendor. Not all vendors are qualified to run a show by themselves.

Beth with Susan Graver is a great example of someone that could carry a show by herself. Nicole Miller is an example of a vendor that could not carry a show by herself.

In all honesty, I don't like when just the vendor presents on Q2. They do this quite a bit. I prefer having a host as well.❤️

@San Antonio Gal I truly hope someone in QVC management, or a seasoned host, can tutor Nicole Miller in her presentations.

I think she's a great designer. But I saw the one show with Pat yesterday, and I have yet to know what Nicole looks like. She stood sideways looking at Pat and the clothes rack the entire hour, with her hair covering her profile. I hope she's OK. It was just oft-putting not to have the brand expert make contact with the viewer at all.

Her ombre maxi dress was beautiful!

I like all the Q Vendors, but I must admit it’s kinda sorta boring when it’s just them presenting. 🥴

I don’t like just vendor presentations. They are boring. The interactions & questions from hosts make it more informative & interesting.

Some vendors can carry a show, and are even better than many QVC hosts..

Sarah Cotellesse, Beth Chandler, Debbie Fediukov, and Bret Hamilton all would be very enjoyable hosts.

I don't know why a company that's struggling with profits would even have vendor reps. Years ago the hosts prepped and presented. Only if it was a complicated electronics product did they have a rep with the hosts. Not sure what the point is of all these people - the hosts should prepare and sell. If they cannot, maybe this isn't the job for them. While not my favorite, Shawn is actually more prepared than many others I see. It seems absurd that David needs a rep to sell a knife or other kitchen widget.

In almost all instances I prefer a representative only show. There is almost always much more detail and emphasis on the product.

Many host solo on Q2 and do an excellent job.

Guests only, in my opinion is the future and the way to go.

But, as noted, not everyone is skilled enough (yet) to do so.

I think that would probably be the death knell for QVC if they dropped the hosts and just went to vendors. They built this brand around the hosts "coming into your home" to sell products and to get viewers to identify with the hosts. They used to say things like let us keep you company. And viewers got attached to their favorite hosts and would search the guide for when they were on.

Based on the uproar over Dan and Carolyn being let go I think this is still going on. I don't think the TV viewing audience would go for just seeing a vendor. Most of the vendors mentioned here I have no idea who they are or way they sell.

I am not visual learner and I am not into presentations. They move too slow and get boring.

I would rather see items in the inventory on the web and read about them. Some items would do good with a short video where a model/ host/ vendor could show the product and explain it's features. We could click and view if we wish.

Even if I see something I might want to order, I always read about the product and also read the reviews.

I know what I prefer is coming in the future. QVC is not doing well. They cannot compete with Amazon and other retailers who only do business on line.

They are spending way too much money on the overhead needed for TV viewing, and less on actual shipping in a timely manner.

They could offer items for less money and free shipping. Even if you had to pay a flat annual fee for free shipping like Amazon, it would drum up business.

Shoppers want their items immediately. They want their returns handled immediately and they do not want to pay a fortune for shipping.

QVC needs to catch up. Their business practices are still in the dark ages.

Showing 4 to 5 products in an hour takes up too much tv time. Many don't have the patience and time to watch that.

I can't believe Pat left her by herself when she went to change. She talked to Crystal as if they were having a conversation just between themselves and never looked at the camera. It was strange @Caaareful Shopper .

She just needs guidance from the producers or someone.

One plus for me with one person presenting whether it be host or vendor/guest is no talking over each other.

For me I'd rather have just the host and no vendor! I like seeing certain hosts do certain shows and feel they would be better on their own. I do agree some of the vendors could become hosts but for the most part when I had Q2 (no longer have the channel) I did watch Angel at times with her Quacker show but that even became old very fast.

As far as Nicole Miller I haven't had the pleasure to watch her on live. By the sound of it though she shouldn't possibly be on air, kind of like Jessica Simpson (HSN) who has to have mommy with her to do all the talking.......very odd and pathetic.

Nicole Miller has had so many health problems. It is amazing that she is still living. She is an amazing person.

I actually liked that Nicole was talking one on one with Crystal. And I’m sure it made Crystal’s day!!

Pat left to put on the satin like cargo pants that were a One Time Only deal. And I thought she looked GREAT in the complete outfit with the matching satin like bomber jacket!! I can see why Pat mostly wears black. The color is stunning on her! 🤗🤗🤗
