Is it just me or do his gold clad pieces look much to YELLOW ?

I was thinking the same thing, even if he is trying for 18k it looked way too yellow to me....I think the same of "gold" used in Diamonique...

I find many gold plated pieces are a bit more yellow as compared to 14 K gold alloy pieces. Maybe they are trying more to imitate

18 K and 24 K. It is not a bad thing, it is just a matter of taste for color.

I used to buy A LOT of gold jewelry from QVC--and from HSN as well, when Michael Anthony was there selling 10 K.

Since gold prices skyrocketed and QVC bought out HSN, and Judith Ripka, Eternagold and Imperial Gold founders all departed, I rarely buy gold jewelry from these two companies.

I actually think the prices are much better at Shop HQ, especially when they offer coupons. Stefano sells a lot of great budget gold items, and they have fancier lines there as well.

I stopped buying Effy jewelry a few years before they even arrived at QVC! (Too many single cut diamonds, treated colored stones, lightweight gold.)

I like David M., but he is arriving too late at the game as an independent, and his prices are too high, the same as Peyton when he became a QVC subcontractor rather than an employee.

I think the silver pieces are prettier, the gold looks like brass, not a soft gold color.

I never buy 18k (solid OR over sterling) because to me it looks TOO yellow. I like 14k or even 10k. JMHO
