topic Price drop timing? in Q Talk

I had a cute Isaac Mizrahi sweater on my wish list which was on sale for 50% off. This was good deal, especially since QVC is not known for generous discounts.

I checked the wish list yesterday, and saw a note that the price was only good until midnight. I placed my order.

This morning, the sweater was $15 less than it was yesterday. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the previous order in time and buy the sweater at the lower price.

QVC is certainly entitled to charge whatever they want for their merchandise, but the note about the price expiring was obviously a selling/pressure tactic that I won't fall for again. I just wanted to mention the situation in case anyone else encounters it.

This one worked out in my favor, though, and I'm very happy about that.
