Liquid Knit does wrinkle. Why do they say that it doesn’t?

If you just fold it and sit it by itself, maybe it won't wrinkle. But when I pack it into a packing cube with other clothes, it wrinkles. I always spray wrinkles away with water in a spray bottle (in general), so it's simple to fix, but still. Maybe they should say that it wrinkles less than other fabrics, but not say that it doesn't wrinkle is it's main selling point.

I find this fabric at least by SG comes to us with deep wrinkles. They're very to hard if not imppossible to get out. I refuse to iron this fabric too. I don't have time for that silliness. It is infuriating though I will say. Laundering it does not help either, the creases do not fall out in the wash cycle.

I agree I have a few liquid neck dresses and they do have wrinkles that I cannot wash out, dry out, or even lightly iron out. But they do wrinkle less than other fabrics so I agree with the wrinkle less rather than wrinkle free.

The SG liquid knit tops that I have arrived with no wrinkles. They are still wrinkle-free.

I've had liquid knit pants and tops with plenty of wrinkles. I wasn't about to start ironing them...because who wants that? And it really caused a lot of static electricity in the items.

@San Antonio Gal. I don't have any trouble with Liquid Knit wrinkling either but I don't throw it in a heap or compress it in a packing cube.

I agree and I always have to steam LK tops, tanks and bottoms. My other gripe, the Liquid Knit fabrics do pill under the arms on long sleve tops and if your thighs rub (which mine do). I do not buy LK bottoms anymore from SG because of this.

As Op stated, maybe just say it wrinkles less or releases easier than cotton or linen, and that there is the possibility of pilling and staining. Just a little more transparency would be nice, but customers sharing the info on these boards or in reviews will help others determine if they will purchase a product.

@Dennieee I don't agree. I may be wearing a different Liquid knit, but i don't think so. I have tons of tops, pants, skorts, etc. all in LK. I roll them, squeeze them into travel bags, and wear them for hours, and I have never had to consider ironing or steaming any of them. That goes for two of my daughters who also buy and wear LK.

I have pieces I've had for years, and they wash and wear perfectly right out of the dryer. The best part is that all the colors will match from year to year. My older navy pants exactly match my new tank.

I've never had it wrinkle but HAVE had it pill. Wearing a crossbody bag or seat belt over a liquid knit top without a jacket or something over it has caused permanent pilling damage to the fabric. So - of the few pieces I have now, having gotten rid of most, I only wear them in cooler weather when I'd be wearing a coat or jacket.

Just got back from a three week trip abroad with only a carry-on. Liquid knit comprised 75% of my travel clothes.

No wrinkles noted at any time.
Also easy to wash during the trip.

i have never had any of SGs knits wrinkle or pill.

they wash well, wear well, travel well, and never fade.

I always check the garment label and won't buy if it states, recycled fabric.

Recycled anything does not last, yet price is higher.

Will not buy anything recycled.

I have a LOT of liquid knit and it never wrinkles for me, no matter what I do to it, including packing cubes. But as someone else stated, it has PILLED for me, like the person stated, from a seat belt or cross body bag. Other than that, I am happy with it. I love the liquid knit dresses. Her last TSV liquid knit dress that I got, I returned. But I have many other styles that I love and wear. In fact I may order more today.
