She is delightful.

I enjoyed the first part of the show which was all I watched but I recorded the entire show.

In the past, I've watched wig presentations but the color of my choice was always the first to sell out. So I ordered right away today.

I like the style because imo the darker areas at the roots give it "dimension".

It was not Jen C's choice to interrupt, she was obviously told to do the by the ptb and wants to keep her job.

This intermingling of shows and hosts, etc, has gotten out of hand, imo, and it's happening all the time now.
Hairdo wigs presentation today

The Hairdo presentation today at 10 to 11 am PT time was upbeat & fun. The show host liked the new long wig a lot & did not take it off during the entire presentation. She looked great in it! The male brand representative was very informative, kind & encouraging. There were comments about how hard it is to grown your hair long when you get older, etc. Everyone was having a good time including the models who looked great in all of the wigs. The wigs were an improvement on everyone. I was about to order, when in sweeps (she ran in) Jen Coffey (on this new act of having the next show host come in & tell you about their show that is up next). Coffey interrupted a conversation, made snide comments about the wigs & kept telling the show host & another model that they looked like Barbie. Who wants to look like an over-the-top plastic doll? Coffey used many precious minutes to do this & ate up a lot of valuable time. I did not order after that, & a friend of mine who saw this criticism by Coffey did not order as well. This is a very big step for a lot of women & the last thing they need to hear is that they look foolish. QVC should curtail these little in-person interruptions by the show hosts & just give a notice on screen what the next show is. By the way, I did not watch Isaac Mzrahi with Coffey.

I think QVC requests that the host who will do the next show drops in and talk to the vendor and host.

This happened a lot. Somtimes, the host dropping in and says they will be on Q2 as well.

QVC encourages this, I am sure.

I am a senior and my hair is waist length. It is not true that it is difficult to grow our hair long as we get older. Many older women have long hair, though we sometimes are told we should cut it because of our age.

If you were interested, why would you not order because a host interrupted the presentation?

IMO, some of the wigs did look wiggy...way too much hair and too full for most people. Many reviews of this brand say the wigs run big and don't fit a smaller head.

@D Kay Thinning hair doesn't just happen to older women. It happens to younger women too.

It can be caused by medications, chemo, childbirth, hormonal changes, heredity, health problems, immune deficiencies, hair dye and hair chemicals such as straighteners.

Since I am a licensed hair dresser, I know this all too well. I also know that many wigs that are sold to the masses are not a good look for many.

Most people really need to be fitted for a wig to fit well and look great. One size doesn't work for everyone even though they can be adjusted. They require precision cutting for a perfect look.

You wouldn't believe how many women own wigs that never wear them and they sit is a drawer or closet....wasted money.

For me, my hair got thinner from 5 months of hard core chemo--lost it all and then grew out again as well as added another cowlick --grrrr-!!! I did have 3 wigs in my dream styles that my real hair would never be able to be cut into. I loved them all and they looked great on me. But I did handle them like they were real hair--you can't just throw them on and go--you have to play with them, adjust them and I used hair products to get the style I wanted. They were in the same color family as my real hair but in different shades and had they not looked the way I wanted, would have taken them into my hair girl and let her do her magic. I did donate all of them back to the cancer denter when I had hair again but sure wished I had kept one.

When QVC first began, they began their show by stating every single item that was going to be presented. Then, at the end of their 2-3 hour shift, the upcoming host ALWAYS did a walk on. They briefly discussed what they would be selling.

This was obviously long before the Internet so it was necessary. I'm not sure exactly why they are back to doing this. They make it appear random, as if a host is just walking by and jumps in to offer why they love a product. I'm thinking it's not so random.

I think we have to accept these selling tactics, there are many we don't like, or just not watch. Many studies are done to see what sells and if QVC continues with a particular tactic, it must work for them as far as sales.
