Customer calls increased

I, for one do not like the customer calls, and seems like they have recently increased. Yesterday, (Sunday) seemed like too many in a number of different shows. They do not influence me one way or another, and seems unneccesary.

On another note, the Dyson "infomercials" were excessive.

Helps fill up the time in those BOW RING infomercial presentations....or just the regular same ole same old presentations..

The host doesn't have to keep saying "This..........is.........Extraordinary!!!" every ten seconds....let the caller drone on about nonsense to fill up that time!!!

I dont mind them at all. No skin of anyones nose if a few minutes on the phone makes someone feel better and puts a smile on their face.

I can't mute them fast enough! Interesting how QVC has now gone from 0 to 60 with these calls. And despite the hosts' happy and welcoming manner when taking these calls, I bet they aren't truly a fan of them either as they never know just what might come out of the mouths of these callers. 😲

I find many of them cringe worthy. Kim gravel, who I enjoy, often has a tear jerky moment with some poor caller. I don't get it. What is the point on a shopping channel?

I assume if the caller says how wondefulthe product is, it's supposed to influence us to make a purchase. Nope.

I do not like the customer calls . Seems most are people who want to talk abt their illnesses or ones that talk abt being big " Fans " of various Hosts.

If the customer caller made suggestions on what fashions they would like to see or if something could come in other colors or tall, petite size rather than just regular than the calls would be helpful to others .

I find them useful when a question is asked that the host and guest haven't addressed, usually with electronics and appliances.

Sometimes the callers do make suggestions for what they'd like. I've heard many do so.

The ones who DO call in are like the sad sacks in the grocery store or the fast food window line.....telling thier life stories to the clerk as they fish around for an old green corroded penny in thier lint filled patented old person oval change bladder....

While the clerk looks on nervously at the growing line, and tries to politely shoo them along without being too obvious....

I know it's what I do when I go to Walmart....I started at age 5 and am now up to my first job.( I drone on with long stories about REAL cash registers with buttons, using REAL money, and back when gas was 75 cents a gallon and I was pulling down 2.00 an hour minimum wage and could still buy my first home....)...but at least all the lint is out of my change purse. (I'm 68).

I like to go on Saturday mornings so I can clog up the line with the most weekend shoppers on it...

I find that Sunday mornings I have too much competition from the ladies dressed like well upholstered living room couches who just came from church.....(think Aunt Bee!!!)

Those phone calls are a channel changer for me..They are just "time fillers"

The people they select to talk on the Kim Gravel shows are really pathetic and a distraction to a happy shopping experience. They seem to be elderly with sad stories to tell which generate too much depressing conversation.

@Kachina624 Same. They make me cringe and I can't get to the mute/off button fast enough. I feel like I am witnessing some poor, sick, injuried person give their last dime to QVC.

non issue for me

- few minutes out of hours of air time

- i can tune out easily if needed

- some good questions are asked

- some like them and i am tolerant

i spelled this out as i have had a few complaints of just posting non issue. some need the details of a basic opinion.

I agree with @TheMemphisVette 100%. Non issue. It's a change of pace from hearing story after story, how many are left, wear this here or there, etc. Breaks up the "infomercial", so to speak. I have never even thought about the callers.

No, I never mute the TV, I find that kind of silly. If I am watching and don't want to listen to what's said I simply change the channel. If it would bother me what a caller is speaking about, I know it won't last long, a minute or so. No biggie.
