"Shop the show backwards"?

I've tried to figure this out but my tiny brain apparently cannot. What does it mean to " shop the show backwards" or however it is phrased? I've heard this a couple of times and I do not know what this means. Can anyone tell me?

Another favorite term of Jane Treacy's. I'm guessing it means that, when an item is shown that would work back with something already shown, you could go online and revisit that item. Sort of like "circling back".

I don't like that phrase either. JT started it and uses it constantly.

I think what she's trying say is just go back and purchase things from the beginning of the show even after it's over.

Havent we always done this without her telling us to lol.🌸

I have heard a few hosts using this term since JT started it. Instead of just saying look at "Items Recently on air", they say shop backwards.

Maybe Jane RT came up with the term, but Quarate has a team of marketing geniuses paid to come up with some of the phrases and lingo the hosts repeat like trained parrots. Why not just say, go to QVC.com and click the Watch tab at the top of the page to view "items recently on air"? That way viewers who may not know are told how they can shop the show backwards.

@LizzieInSRQ She obviously means to shop the stuff at the beginning of the show.

But honestly, why you would spend a second trying to discern the significance of what a host said is beyond me. There are millions of better things to do with that second. Just don't think about what they say. They are trying to sell. That is all.

It' a stupid JT term that isn't even correct. She means look at the Items Recently on Air. It's not shopping backwards.

I always understood what it meant, but think it isa strange turn of phrase. “Tap the app” (which at least made sense), was another favorite of hers but I haven’t heard that lately. Maybe: “shop backwards” will soon fall by the wayside too and she will rephrase it.

It means......if you come into the middle of the show, you can always "shop backwards" by looking at Items Recently on Air during that show, to see what you missed.

You can only “shop backwards” if you can get to the website. Granted the vast majority of people can, but it’s not like the (very) old days when they spent the last minute or so of a show recapping all the remaining items shown. If they are going to keep encouraging people to shop previous items in the show maybe they could consider bringing that back?

What a rude dismissive post. I had a question that i was curious about. What is YOUR problem with that i wonder. I like to seek knowledge. You spent more time "obviously" admonishing me.

I actually was over thinking as i already go to items recently on air and look. I didnt know it meant the same thing.

Since my thoughts are "beyond" you, kindly skip over them going forward.Dont waste your own precious time.

I think it means and yes JT says this a lot, that you can look at the items recently on air to see what you've missed.
