Where Is Lori Goldstein??

Haven't been here for a while, and I see Lori Goldstein's niece, Allison, is always on for Logo, but no Lori -

Is Lori just on vacation or taking a break?

I do miss Lori!

I read she moved to Palm Springs to be near her elderly Mom. The article also said she sold her company. She probably has to make occasional appearances.

Technically, she built a big home in Palm Springs and moved her mother in there with her. I guess her niece, Allison is staying in her New York apartment so she can now represent the brand. I'd rather see Lori too, or George Brescia.💝🌸

I miss Lori, sorry to say I like her better.

I know she has years of experience, but her take on everything is unique and I appreciate her knowledge.

Alison, Lori's niece said last evening that she lives in Palm Springs also. I enjoyed Alison, as she gains experience she will improve and smooth out more. I sure could tell she is related to Lori, her looks and certain movements were very similar to Lori.

QVC hosts and vendors are entitled to time off just like all working people.

I just wondered what happened to Lori, haven't seen her for a bit.

I also like the way Lori and Amy Stran interact together, they are a perfect team!

I miss Lori too but I can understand not wanting to be at the Q all the time, especially since she sold her place in PA. She’s worked hard for years and I’m sure she’s thinking about her mom needing her more. Allison mentioned to Shawn that Lori has her own home in Palm Springs, then next door is her grandmothers house, and then her house is next to hers. Very nice! 🤗

I heard that too, I bet Lori is a very good-hearted person!

LORI sold her company three years ago to XCEL. they are the same company that own judith ripka, isaac mizrahi, c wonder, and more.

Lori is now an employee of Xcel and is the Chief Creative Officer and Spokeswoman for the brand.

The Employment Contract requires her to appear on QVC within reasonable requests, but doesn't specify number of appearances or when. So she'll still show up at times.

@cheriere I prefer George as the alternate presenter as well. I don't watch (or buy) a lot of Logo these days. I have some of her early pieces and like them a lot but I stopped buying when it was all about varying hemlines. I realize that was a fashion thing that all of the clothing lines pursued. I just didn't find it flattering for me so I didn't buy.

The times I've watched when her niece is presenting her voice got to me so that was the end of me watching those shows.

I'm glad to hear that Lori is taking care of her mom. That's IMO a good thing. I'm taking care of my brother and his only daughter has decided there's no reason at all for her to provide ANY help and seldom visits.

First of all, let me commend you on caring for your brother. I know it can be a difficult thing to do, but also very rewarding. I'm helping with my mom and dad as well. Although, it may be more appropriate in my case to say we're all helping with each other lol, as I've been having my share of medical problems too these days.😊💝🌸

I'm glad she's helping with her mom too. However, I sure wish she'd have left George as the sole ambassador in her absence instead of Allison. She just isn't meant for television. Her voice is the worst and she has nothing to add to the presentations.

I used to purchase some of the Logo tops, but I'm done with the hemlines and fly away fits. I still occasionally will buy some jeans and jackets. Her price increases have limited purchases too.

The one thing that I do not like about George is him touching the models so much. And I get the feeling that my favorite host Leah does not like him hugging her either. If you notice she’s always holding clothing in front of her when he comes out to present. Yes I’m very observant.
I much prefer Allison and I think her voice is very sweet sounding. Most often those types of voices are the gentlest human beings out there. 🤗🤗🤗

I thought I was the only one, I didn't want to say that I had to shut the show off, the niece's voice is not good.

Sorry to hear about your brother, I know how that can be. I'm taking care of my DH and it can be a full time job. Not complaining, but it would be nice for others to come by once in a while to give me a break!

@Imaoldhippie. All Allison does is agree with the host and massage the clothes. She'll wear out the sleeve of a garment in one presentation.
