Is Tess from Canyon Retreat gone?

When they introduced Canyon Retreat under the Denim & Co brand a few years ago, they said that Tess was hired to help Gary out. Then they spun Canyon Retreat off as it's own brand with Tess, and Jackie Morgan was hired to help Gary. Now that Canyon Retreat is back under the Denim & Co. brand, Tess seems to have been squeezed out. I haven't seen her for today's Canyon Retreat TSV.

@Dennieee Tess is gone. Jackie Morgan confirmed to a poster on Facebook (answering questions about the TSV this morning) that Tess is no longer with QVC.

She hasn't been on in a while, and made her last QVC post in early February. She said she should update her whereabouts soon, but never did.

Tess is based in Atlanta, GA and has been an entertainment reporter on a news station there. Perhaps she got greater responsibilities in Atlanta and the QVC job just didn't fit anymore.

@LindaSal No, that is Jackie Morgan, Gary's substitute brand ambassador with Denim & Co.

It looks like with the now vacant brand ambassador for Canyon Retreat, QVC has had to bring it completely back under D & Co.

@Caaareful Shopper Or perhaps Canyon Retreat wasn't selling as well on it's own, so they brought it back under D&Co, and they didn't need Tess anymore.

@Caaareful Shopper. I have a feeling that was planned as Canyon Retreat doesn't exactly seem to be on fire. No need for a brand ambassador. Jackie Morgan can easily assume those duties as she seems to have little to do now.

@Caaareful Shopper. She seemed like a poor choice as she wasn't readily available except by Skype, and was totally clueless about Southwest style and culture

Speaking of fit, and since you brought it up, I have to comment in a slightly different way. I don't know that I ever saw Tess wear an appropriate size in any garment. They never fit and thus the clothes were never presented in a good manner. There was a top I kept viewing on video that I really liked. But for the longest time the look on her put me off as it was, well, waaaaay too tight. I finally did order it in a realistic, appropriate size for me and I do like it.

I agree that her clothing was much too small and ill fitting. I remember when she first came on she said she was wearing a size 10 pants. I knew that it was impossible. I do think that she was very pretty and would have.looked much better in her correct size.

I liked Tess. She had a positive personality that wasn't over the top. I didn't know she was gone & had hoped she'd be on with the TSV today.

I posted in the TSV thread. I like Tess, and I was really sad to hear this. She was so positive and happy, and I thought she did a great job as a vendor.

I'm also sad they rolled the Canyon Retreat line into the larger D&C collection. I like all of D&C - it just made it easier to find, and I could watch a whole show of just Canyon Retreat.

Nobody stays very long in any job very long these days

I've been thru 3 FNP's then they switched me to a woman Dr. I asked her if she was gonna stay for awhile. "Oh yeah, I like it here". Well, she left few months ago, now, I'm back with another FNP.

Stores and restaurants go out of business every week.

Your driving down the road, do a double take looking out the car window and say to self "when did they go out of business."?

Seems like in today's world nothing is too dependable.

Here today gone tomorrow. Same thing with products and foods you like. Just when you can't live without something. "they don't make that anymore ".

Was not a fan of Tess, no loss that she moved on...and I could do without Jackie Morgan, not impressed!
