I'm watching Nancy tonight on QVC2 presenting jewlery and she's doing a fabulous job! I really like her as a host!

I caught the tail end of her Gemstone Jewlery show when she was talking about recently losing her rescue dog to illness after having him for 3 years and her late Mom, what a emotionally strong person she is, I would be bawling my eyes out, so sorry for your losses Nancy.

I believe she was referring to gemstones and for some they may signify the memory that a person can hold on to and remember someone or something by.

@San Antonio Gal It seems all the hosts find a way to insert their personal stories into no matter what they're selling. Perhaps the loss of her beloved pet was new and she was still feeling the pain. Who knows.

@San Antonio Gal different things bring up memories for all of us. Sometimes the darn Hallmark commercials will get me & I'll find myself crying over a loss from many years ago.

I have a pendant that I bought for my Mom for Christmas many years ago. I wear it from just before Thanksgiving thru spring in memory of her. She's been gone for 30 years. In case you wonder why I only wear it during that time, it's because the motif is holly & hellebore on it. When the hellebores stop blooming, I put it away until Thanksgiving.

Nancy will insert her late mother into any program. Pretty sure her dog will also be added as time filler, too. Wonder why she never mentions her father to fill up time? She was obviously not a Daddy's girl, but stuck close to her mother and her QVC Diamonique and make-up! Guess that explains a lot.

It's obvious all hosts have been "suggested" to go speak about their lives. To chat more. The Q wants hosts to be like "family." This works on many, as you can see in the favoritism and likability and fan base of many. They're favored with thousands of base. That's why Shawn does the crazy things she does, others too. It's all to make you "love" your hosts and buy everything from them and buy things they love.

Those who reveal the most, are the favorites. Children, husbands, relatives, etc., are brought into selling.

So, Nancy is trying to do what all the others are told to do....

I don't mind if the hosts talk about their personal lives. How much can you really say in 2 or 4 hours about the item you are selling lol??? People can identify with them.

Leah seems to be a favorite host and she speaks very little of her personal life. I think they should all save their family stories for social media instead of the Q.

How often can Nancy Yoon talk about her mother who passed a long time ago, but never mention her father (also deceased)? She has sisters. What about them?

Why does she often mention her husband with sarcastic comments? And what about her recently widowed mother-in-law?

Perhaps, she would be wiser to be cease mentioning her late mother and keep personal things off air as Leah has done for years.

So many other hosts could also take a lesson from Leah, too!

I hope not. I can't stand when Leah starts that silly cackling laugh and then the "yeah". It's like she stumbles over her words, then laughs as a way to get past whatever she was trying to say.

QVC hosts do not have to share their private life with us. And whatever and whoever they choose to mention is up to them. I don’t judge them and we shouldn’t either. If you have a perfect life and you talk Equally about all your family members, Congrats. I sure don’t.

AND who knows maybe talking about a certain family member makes them emotional. I know I can hardly talk about my mom and brother without crying, so stop being so critical and be kind.

@BirkiLady I think she references her mom because she apparently was a huge QVC fan and is the reason Nancy auditioned for the host job. Her mom died tragically in a car accident btw.

Why begrudge her the memories? She's not the only one who mentions family members.
