Nylon is manufactured in a wide variety of grades.

The IHKWIP item I own is definitely very high end nylon which I would readily and easily label "luxury." It's durable and has worn well.

I get a laugh when the Hosts and vendors make a big deal abt these bags being " Vegan " . No animals being killed in the process , but the nylon is deadly to the environment as it does not breakdown

@They CallMe MRWILKES I agree with you. To think there's only one luxury fabric luxurious doesn't come anywhere near my values. If I had to buy leather to get luxury, I'd be passing.

They might use a thicker nylon, but it’s still nylon. It’s cheap to manufacture. I do think the bags are constructed well and made to maximize profit.

They use their background working for luxury brands as their selling point.

If they used leather instead of nylon, they would have to price the bags at a price most people would not pay without the luxury name.

If they used cheap grade leather, they’d fold. So, nylon works for the brand.

I own 2 crossbodies and the large tote bag. Love all of them. I just do not need more bags right now!!! They are very well made and very functional.

I owned a IHKWIP bag. It was fine. Looked worn on the bottom after a while.

There is nothing luxurious about this brand.

I wasn't watching at the time, but "luxury nylon" sounds like a Good example of an OXYMORON.

I remember when Sue Clifton was the vendor for Dooney & Bourke. She stated that their nylon bags were very good quality. She would say that they are "Italian nylon." I bought one or two of those and the quality is very good. The IHKWIP brand nylon is nowhere as good as the bags I have from D & B, manufactured with "Italian nylon." The IHKWIP vendor comes up with some dubious claims. For many features of the bags, he states the description in a way that makes it claim that his brand is the first and only brand to ever come up with a certain characteristic and manufacture it into the bags. It's just not true. I have bought different handbags in different brands over the years. His claims are very untrue.

The host and vendor are there to convince us the claims they make are true. Whether it’s a stretch is up to us to figure out.

There is nothing wrong with the bags. They are what they are. Well constructed nylon.

Maybe a thicker nylon, so whether it originates in Italy or the moon. It’s still nylon. A cheap material.

I love the brand & use them for travel. They suit my needs. I don’t care about luxury for my purposes.

A local store I follow on Facebook has a video out selling their bags at a fraction

of the regular price and butchered the name really bad.

She said the brand's name was I H K Wip bag. I know how it is pronounced

but some people do not, it was funny.

I've always wondered- is IHKWIP an abbreviation for anything or is it an intentional misspelling of the word "equip"? The brand reps/creators are always fun to watch and listen to .
