Stop telling me where I can wear items!!!!

I am so tired of listening to the 5 minute description of where I can wear a pair of shoes, boots, pants. tops, etc...We already KNOW where and when we plan to wear what we buy! I must say I am watching less and less Q and HSN cause I am so tired of the banter...oh for the good old days of shopping in a nice department store!!! (you can probably guess I am a senior! HAHA) I am even tired of Leah, Jane and Marybeth!!

Me too - getting tired of the whole experience. It took me long enough, because I have been shopping with QVC for close to 20 years.

I agree with you. I also wish they would stop saying how to dress it up or down. Just give me the material content, care/washing of the material, measurement of garment and colors of the garment. That information can easily fill up ten to fifteen minutes of time.

So you want an automated voice to go over sizes, measurements, fabric content, price, shipping, etc. Over and over and over.

I keep hearing what hosts should not talk about. If it annoys you, turn off the sound and review the information on your computer over and over. Or make suggestions about acceptable topics because people rarely do that. It would be helpful.

I don't know if you are addressing my response but yes I do want the hosts to go over sizes, measurements, etc. It is their jobs as hosts to give this information. I already know where to wear clothing items. I don't know how that information is more relevant than giving item measurements.

An automated voice? No, but just give the important info about the item. I don't need ot hear suggestions about how to use the product.

All of the hosts selling points are their job as sales people. As tired and repetitive as those points are, this is how it is when you are trying to sell something. Nothing negative will ever be said about any item which in itself speaks volumes. The hosts do not influence my decision to buy, that is my decision based on what I like and can afford. I also watch much less of the Q and enjoy being out and about in stores where the salespeople say, if you need any help let me know. and there are always salespeople to help.

The solution would be to present more items and have shorter presentations. I think the hosts run out of new and fresh things to say about each item so they have to bring up nonsense and repeat things that we don't need to hear. If they would move on and just have a few minutes on each item, this wouldn't be a problem.

I have watched MANY presentations on clothing items where they NEVER give the fabric content. YET, they will say multiple times, "Only order of the year." Well who cares? A lot of times it is written in the description anyway that it is the only order of the year. And I think most people know there is no guarantee that things will come back, if ever. I know this "Only order" statement is said to get people to buy now, but it is quite annoying.

Instead of the name QVC they might as well just call themselves "Only Order of the Year" channel.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the quantities in stock determine what makes it on air. They need a minimum of 5,000 pieces is what sticks in my mind, but I wouldn't swear to it.

Even if something is really special, if they only have 75 of them in the warehouse, they won't waste on-air minutes selling something that would be gone in a moment and all the other customers will complain because it was shown, but then not available.

This is why Qurate should just ditch and abandon broadcasting completely, as no one is satisfied, and dedicate all resources to an online presence supplemented with streaming and social media platforms.

Broadcast is an extremely dated mode of communication.

Linear broadcast is dead! Long live modern streaming!

I have heard them say on Valerie's presentation they only brought in 1,000 and I have heard fewer amounts a few times.
