I guess you have not had your power go out for a week. A hair dryer would be welcomed.

I have had our power go out for many days. Thats why we have a Generac.

I would love to see the video they shot before someone realized that the dryer must be less than 1800W or else....

I bought the Delta Max 2000 watt generator when it was on sale last month. My original intent was to be able to use it inside to power our router and internet during power outages.

Little did I know that my son would be dog-sitting when it arrived .... and he absoncded with it. It is now powering his fridge and cpap on his yearly camping trip with friends.

I guess I get it back when the bad weather starts ...

All I need or want when the power goes out is AC or heat depending on the season.

You're lucky if you've never lost power. Hurricane Gloria - no power for THREE weeks. Yeah, it happens. I got a small generator a few years back and haven't had to use it yet, but I'm ready if and when I should lose electricity again.

@Group 5 minus 1 Tell you what,I've always said,if I'm ever able to buy a home,The 1st thing I would do,is install new compression and a generator.I totally freak out when I loose power.Ive had this happen like all ppl,for days.IT SUCKS!

@Jaspersmom My dear friend,I can't imagine being without power for several weeks.How in the world did you survive?

My parents have a generator,but their home is only a 2 bd and extra is used for a office.I would have to go to a hotel for sure
