Stop with all the employee changes! WE customers have just gotten used to the last batch of new people you hired & now you have more???? For Heaven's Sake! We just want to look at the featured items. Stop rotating people like they're mannequins. We don't care about that. Honestly. It makes me want to turn QVC off altogether. You're nuts.

You may be personally frustrated but QVC has 10.4 million customers. In what world do you get to speak for all of them? You certainly don't have permission to speak for me.

I know I do not care or even notice who the host is because I (and probably most others) also just want to look at the featured items. So with that thinking why should it matter how many hosts QVC has and hires?

I really don't understand getting upset about it when there's no way of knowing yet if they'll be good or bad?

Considering the serious financial difficulties QVC is in it is surprising it keeps hiring new hosts when what it should be doing is getting rid of them. An unnecessary expense, IMHO!!!

@DesertD QVC knows best what their personnel needs are. Its hard to imagine that a person is so set in her ways that she can't cope with seeing a new face on her TV.

You're right...it may be best that you turn your TV off.

@DesertD I don't believe we viewers know what challenges schedulers might face but I do know they face plenty of them.

I don't watch much but when I encounter a host I don't presenting a product I do, I use my mute button. The host I don't like most likely is a favorite of some other viewers.

I see no way for the company to win if they take your STOP advice.

Hi, @DesertD ! To me it seems that the Q is hiring new (hence lower paid) hosts in anticipation of laying off more of the higher paid hosts. Perhaps they try them out to see what the audience response is and go from there. There are some newbies that also haven't lasted long. Personnel is one of the biggest costs a company has when one considers salary, benefits, and other perks/costs (eg, talent management, etc). JMHO.

@DesertD I'm going to guess you're not going to respond to anyone, no thank you for your input, no thank you for your suggestion. Most likely your next post will be a rant on QVC, same thing rant and no reply to comments.

I just don't get it. If you're that frustrated as previously said turn off the TV. This isn't just a normal airing of a complaint however, you're calling QVC nuts. That's your frame of reference, what a strange statement.

They must be thinking ahead ... host retirements could be on the horizon and they'll need replacements.

Yes, @DesertD, the host situation is a huge source of discord among buyers, so they must be very important.

Like actors in a TV program or movie, hosts are actors, and can make or break QVC's on-air programming.

I think a lot of evidence is there to support QVC's attempts at changing the on-air culture from older to younger...enter new young hosts to replace the older ones.

I do think QVC is nuts, maybe there is a better word, considering the majority of buyers are older women. We are not on our deathbeds yet,

QVC just hired 3 new hosts. 2 females and 1 male. David said during one of his live streams they will do their first programs during Christmas in July.

Their photos aren't on The Hosts photo page yet.
