Watching Pat present jewelry is a true pleasure. Nobody else can match her expertise or enthusiasm . What other host has arrived on the set equipped with a ruler ready to give us specific information?

Pat has had years of experience presenting fine jewelry and it shows. She's a pleasure to watch and hear. The best!

I agree about Pat. I feel the same way about several of the older hosts, and can only assume that whatever training methods they used in the past were far superior to whatever training they are doing now.

Hi, Back in the "old" days the Hosts always had a ruler with them and took time to explain everything, They also used to have color swatches so you could see how the jewelry would look with different colors. I sure miss that . Im glad we have the older hosts that still do that.

Yeah, Jayne doesn't take any ****. She keeps stuff inline. All business like it should be.

I like Pat, too, she's real body conscious. Always in black and makes sure she has sweaters, jackets, on all the time.

I used to enjoy when David Dangle presented Joan's jewelry line because he would use swatches to show how her necklaces would look up against different tops.

I remember using the ruler during the jewelry shows. Mary Beth used a ruler on the Gold Rush and Pat D used her ruler during the Elegance of 18k Gold shows, good old days.

I like the senior hosts because they are definitely more knowledgeable and a bit more professional, but these days no host can persuade me to purchase. I find all the shows a bit dry, and I prefer to study the item in detail online.

The only host who ever convinced me to buy more jewelry (that I did not need) was Lisa Robertson, as she had such a manner of being enthralled with the jewels that I wanted them as well! She also brought a nice level of glamour, and the Italian shows were simply brilliant, and have never been surpassed.

I agree Antonella was always excited and enthusiastic about showing jewelry, which made the shows quite fun.

Overall, the variety and quality of jewelry has gone down.

Nowadays I am spending more money on travel than on jewelry.

I agree! Pat & MB use the ruler and tell you important information. I am watching Terry Conn now and all she keeps saying is the prices are going away at the end of the day. She doesn't give the length of the necklace presented or any measurements. Selling here is really a lost art.

Pat Demetri is great! Mary Beth and Rick are good also. Their experience shows especially when QVC does all day jewelry days. They can be plugged in anywhere.
