Unscripted Touching Moment

Anybody else see the live show with Kim G and Mary? There was a studio guest that made a statement regarding how she enjoyed QVC and how it kept her company while dealing with cancer.

Many here say they don't understand people's connection, some say obsession, with QVC. We never know what people are going through. If they want to watch a shopping channel to help them, let's not chide them. It was a very touching moment.

That was definitely touching . There are alot of people who really connect with Kim and it's very sweet to see. I certainly wish that woman well.

The whole show is very good. I didn't know they were having a live audience fashion show for Belle. I only intended to check in and turn the channel. But I'm watching the whole thing.

That moment was very touching. Lovely for that woman to meet Kim and talk to her.

I love seeing the models acting up like they are -- everyone is having fun. The fact that they now get to truly move in the clothes shows more clearly how they fit too.

The special thing about QVC is the host is looking at the camera and talking directly to the viewer. It is odd, but it does make a person who needs human interaction feel connected.

We certainly have no understanding of the various needs QVC fills on a daily basis.

I have to say I do not particularly care for Kim. However, I was very impressed and moved with the way she interacted with that woman. It was very warm and touching. I am sure this woman who has survived cancer, will hold this memory with her for a very long time. It was a great show and Mary and Kim make a great team.

I don't generally like the live shows because they seem too fake. This show today is the most enjoyable show I've watched on QVC, ever. And I've been watching QVC since it was CVN. I've laughed and smiled and am just having a great time. I love Kim. I will say that the moment with the lady who had cancer was so very touching. I had tears in my eyes. Kim's reaction was so genuine and heartwarming. I have so much more admiration and respect for her now. The models are having so much fun and it is enjoyable to watch them!

I would have loved to have seen it but I wasn't home. What item was being presented? I wonder if it is on the video for that item. Kim has a gift for ministering to other women. I may not buy many of her clothing items but I sure do enjoy watching her.

I do remember when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer it seemed like everytime I would watch something an advertisement about cancer would come on and I would just get so depressed and turn the channel as quick as I could. I do relate to the lady who said how she watched QVC. I had been a QVC watcher for years but I do remember watching a lot more of all the shopping channels during my recovery just to avoid the commericals.

@SurferWife I'm interested in knowing too as to which item and just to know clearly, was it a regular QVC (not Q2) show?

Yes, the main QVC channel since today is her TSV. Hopefully someone will let us know what item was being presented.

I got to see it while they were presenting the beach pants.

But go to the program guide and find the Belle with Mary. That was the live presentations. A woman named Elizabeth who had cancer and was in the audience.

Just look for the Belle with Mary around 4pm on the program guide.

Kim also whispered something into the woman's ear which I would imagine .

was a word of encouragement.

I did thoroughly enjoy this show and I always enjoy Kim's regular shows. I find her an interesting and entertaining woman.

Yes, I was watching. Kim and Mary handled it so well. They and the live audience were teary-eyed but it was uplifting and touching. It was a beautiful moment. And it was fun to see a live show!

What I watched was very good. I particularly enjoyed the woman in the audience with "Shell Yes" (she had on one of Kiim's intarsia shell-design sweaters), as she put it, with her hilarious description of losing weight...gaining it back, dropping it, selling it, then getting it back something along those lines..it was so funny!

The touching moment between the QVC customer and Kim is at about 21 min 35 sec into the video. It is a very sweet loving moment indeed.
