QVC App

Is anyone else having issues using the QVC app? For the past few weeks or so, I will be using the QVC app and it promptly closes without warning. I lose all of the items I have placed in my cart. I did update the app and the glitch is still happening. I have elected not to use the app now because this glitch occurs each time I use it.

Same here…. I only get 20-30 seconds then it shuts down. It’s been happening for me for over a week now.

That sounds about the right time frame for me too. I hope QVC fixes the issue soon!

have you seen if there is an app update OR have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app?

i always order online rather than using the app. then i can get my rebates.

I did do an update and uninstall/install the app. Sometimes it’s easier to search and order from the app. I just go on the website now.

Since you can't get to the boards from the app, I have never used it. I always do all my viewing with QVC .Com. Works fine, I see no advantage to the app.

@qwibbs Why is that? What makes it harder to search & order directly from the online website?

Yes @qwibbs it happened to me last night. I was in bed watching items recently on air from my iPad and it kept closing me out completely and I'd have to go back to the item I was looking at and start over.

Sure you can. I’m using the app right now to access the forum. I’ve never gone through the website for anything.

I use the app very frequently for shopping and purchasing, but can not for the life of me figure out how to access the forums. I, too, would love to know how!

Well, this is embarrassing. I’m dyslexic, but this one’s pretty bad even for me. I had it backwards. I can’t find the forums on the app, and only use the website for the forums.

I am genuinely sorry. I hope it didn’t cause too much consternation.

YES i came on this chat specicially to see if anyone else was having issues !! I see there is no app update pending either. It's really about intolerable at this point.

I order directly from the Website. If the app is giving problems, why use it?

I always get a message saying to use the app but I don't plan to. Could someone please tell me what's the difference by using the app. Thanks.

@Sage04: I use the app because my bird keeps stealing the keys off my laptop. All those missing laptop keys make my phone easier to use. And I like the app’s layout. It just seems easier to use.
Plus, I always have my phone with me! Although that can lead to other problems …

I never use the app...There are only a couple of apps that I use and they aren't shopping. It's much easier to go to the internet and bring up a website.

@DrumPounder that is so funny. I wonder what the bird does with them. Guess the laptop now belongs to the bird.
