Has anyone called QVC to say how u feel about these firings?

I am wondering if anyone called the customer service line to tell them how u felt about the firings. What were the responses when u talked to them? I am sure they have gotten flooded with angry callers

Are you for real?

Customer service employees take orders, process returns, etc..

They DON'T make, enforce or change HR policy, or even have direct contact with Corporate HR.

Sheesh.

If people call customer service to complain about personel decisions, they themselves need help.

I bet the CSR's ( Customer Service Reps) have been given a script to reply, or were told just listen, and redirect them to their order, just get them OFF the line so paying ordering customers can get through....

Script goes like this:

Umm Hmmm, uh huh, I see, I understand, thank you for calling with your concerns....is there anything else I can help you with today? Good bye.

Hail...no! In fact, I just placed orders for two items.

With a big snow storm coming this way tomorrow, I may be placing a few more. Hosts don't matter to many of us....I shop off the website.

I know they track these forums. I love Denim and Co. but I won't be ordering again because Carolyn is gone. I don't understand how they could let someone so versatile go. She could do gardening, homegoods, D&Co, Pets - just anything they threw at her. And she was good!! I am her size and age and always knew what the clothes would look like on me when she wore them. She was a regular, sweet, funny person and I will miss her. I spend $$$ on Denim and Co. Probably won't matter to the big shots, but I'm going to have more money to spend somewhere else now!

Waste of time but both this board and QVC on Facebook are burning up with angry customers. The suits think they know a lot more than we do.

YOU NEED TO READ THE FORUM, FURTHER DOWN......I CALLED THEM AS SOON AS I FOUND OUT ABOUT IT!!!!.........AND, I WROTE TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE.......I JUST GOT AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT THEY RECEIVED MY CONCERNS! I really wish I did not check on the 2 very disparaging remarks made by Dan that another poster had mentioned in which a popular ex host testified to hearing the comments made by him. He was one of my favorite hosts and after reading that it certainly paints him in a different light... although it was quite a while ago.

I just wish everyone affected by this last round of layoffs the very best.

Just read Todsy.com on line they have a story and it's making it sound like they like they chose to leave nothing about how they were actually fired, looks like QVC is not telling the truth....no respect left for this company.

Why didn't they get rid of QVC 2&3 which are a waste anyway would save a lot of money and helped to save 400 jobs. David better sell a lot of cookbooks to keep his Job.

there have been dozens of corporate releases on the layoffs.

To see them, just put QRTEA ( thier stock ticker) in your search bar and READ THEM.

Unbelievable. They actually might think they will get younger viewers if they fire the "old people". My niece, 39 years old, has NO idea what QVC is nor do her friends. They do not shop on "shopping channels". You have lost numerous viewers/purchasers by firing Dan and Caroline. Who is next, David? Oh, maybe Mary Beth.

Customer service is not the place to call for any real assistance on this.

They might send messages to someone within QVC, but how far will they go? The circular wastebasket.

I'm sure they know why we are angry.

I don't think there's anything we can do to get Carolyn and Dan their jobs back and honestly I wouldn't take this job if it were offered back to me.
