@jananddean There is no indication that anyone from corporate ever reads this board. If they did, they wouldn't respond as QVC employees cannot post here.

Regardless, there's much benefit in the exchange of information by the customers who post here, which is the purpose of the board. It's for the customers.

I think this board is so small that "corporate" might not know it exists. The Facebook group gets the attention and activity.

@They CallMe MRWILKES And you know this how? I've never known of a single suggestion made here that has been implemented or complaint that has been rectified. Since most if us don't have MBAs, our opinions and ideas are worthless to them.

Even if you call the executive offices and make a complaint or suggestion to the designated person, nothing ever happens so why would they bother wading through the boards?

IMO NO. I think the Mods read them and maybe forward good ideas but if they did read them I believe they would change some things. I am just guessing but that is just MO

@BalletBabe I have on several occasions asked the mods to forward threads to department heads who could fix specific issues. They always say they will but I've never seen any change as a result.

The most recent instance was when they discontinued including garment measurements on some clothing. There was a good thread about it. Well, they're still doing it

For myself, I dont believe they do. Why on earth would they? This is such a minute group of buyers and most opinions are negative and nasty. Why would they subject themselves to such negativity? They are concerned about the bottom line which is sales and profit.

@Kachina624 That is sad because they most likely lose sales by not providing information. You would think they would want to do anything to increase sales. I can't wait for this Quarter sales. I think that it will be down. The stale Merch, The obnoxious Hosts, Giving New Customers free shipping for 3 months, Lack of information on products, then charging a fortune to return. They are doing everything wrong.
Let's add all the programming when streaming that is terrible. QVC is like the Titanic, Sinking.

Not sure what you mean by "wasting your time by responding".

The communications here are between customers, and I doubt many write anything hoping someone in "corporate" is reading them. We have Customer Care and Suggestion Box threads for that.

If I understand correctly, QVC has moderators contracted to cover the board ... not QVC employees.

Of course, it's entirely possible that QVC employees read these occasionally for amusement, but the QVC Facebook pages are their official social media contact.

This subject has been discussed here rather frequently.

Basically, the consensus is no, corporate is not reading our comments because we have seen no changes in years.

One would think the Forum was established for QVC to use as a tool to gauge what customers like and dislike as far as policies and products. What other retailers they are using, etc.

Can't imagine a retailer paying for a Forum, hiring employees to monitor it, but not pay attention to what customers are saying, but it does look like QVC is doing just that.
