Return Label/Invoice

The last several orders received from QVC do not include the invoice or return label. Most are clothing and some require a return. So I have receipt nor return label unless I print them off - and they use a lot of black ink!

An alternative is to call CS and they will mail you one. I use my printer for labels and invoices alot and it does not use that much ink that I worry about it.

@WildDunes Since your ink is so expensive, I guess you could just donate them to a charity. They'd be appreciated.

What I don't understand is that there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when you get a label and when you don't. I recently ordered 2 of the same item, different colors. Came in two bags. One had a label, one didn't.

I am keeping both but I like to keep the slip until I reconcile my bill.

@WildDunes If you're printing that many return labels that you're concerned about the cost of ink, perhaps QVC is not the place to shop???

@Travone I get most of my orders from the Ontario, Ca. warehouse. They never include labels or invoices. I do usually get them in packages from other locations.

QVC passed label expenses on to their customers, the $6.95 for the return label and shipping, along with a printer, ink, and paper.

I've been hearing complaints about no labels for months, but I still get them. I can think of only one box (rom South Carolina) besides gourmet food, labels were not in the box.

I heard Ontario, CA was not including them in the box, but I just received 4 orders with labels from Ontario, CA this past 2 months.

@Kachina624 Didn't say my ink was expensive, just that printing the label uses a lot of ink. I do print them. Great idea though to donate items to charity if you choose.

@rms1954 I just get in a hurry and don't want to wait for a mailed return form, so I do print. Was just expressing a frustration with QVC.

@Travone I also use the invoices to reconcile my records. Frustrating that QVC is so erratic with the invoices.

@kaydee50 Didn't say I was printing so many or that I was concerned with cost. Just commenting on the fact that printing does use a lot of ink and that QVC's quality control is sloppy.

@Foxxee Great that you are having such good luck. Guess it goes in spurts with the season and the customer! Most of the time, I get the invoices; sometimes, not. I just go with it.

Sorry. Just giving another way to fix your issue. I rarely get a pkg without a return label so I just print one if needed. We can't have everything our own way.

@WildDunes - A lot of other retailers are not sending out invoices either such as Target, Amazon, etc. I did receive an invoice with Kohl's.

I'm sure eventually all of them will discontinue sending invoices.

IMO the customer should always receive a receipt/shipping label. It is very unnecessary to put the burden on the customer. Incidentally, comments in reply by other posters, and you know who you are, such as, if your ink is so expensive donate to charity or we can't always have our own way are rude & uncalled for IMO.

they mail it to you, but it takes 7 to 10 days to receive it.

All orders should come with some kind of receipt showing all pertinent information regarding that purchase. I am tired of not receiving it with my order, regardless of whether I am returning it or not!

IMO, there's a good reason, other than cost, as to why shipping labels aren't included. TREES and saving the planet for future generations. Not everyone returns products on a regular basis so why send them if it helps save the trees. We need trees for oxygen you know.
