Is it better to use a return label when provided or to do the return online and print the return label that way? Which way is it better for tracking? I've done both and I always keep my USPS or UPS receipt. Sometimes when I've done a return online there's no tracking at all.

@Catch71 Usually the chat room works for me as long as USPS shows possession of the return pkg. I recall reading past comments referring to the social team. Just couldn't recall if it was regarding specific returns or other issues so I thought I would try them and it worked! You are correct...qvc easy returns handles returns.

a little background. I ordered SG pants, however, QVC sent me a HOT GIRLS PEARL NECKLAUS instead AND NO PACKINGSLIP and yet I had paid for express shipping cost...so I was probably frustrated. So I contacted chat room which I usually get satisfaction but was told I had to wait 10/12 days which surprised me. I then spoke to CS ...connection was bad and sent emails to qv easy returns with no acknowledgment and that is when I recall the social team so that worked.

When I make a return, I send an email to qvc easy returns with the order number, item description and why I am returning the item. I think you have to use the easy return label if it's in your packaging. It usually takes a day or so for Qvc to send you an email giving the refund to the card used.

The email then instructs you to make sure to send the return back within the thirty days.

@FranandZoe You can always get a tracking number on your returned goods whether you use a pre-pd label by said company or pay return postage yourself.

The bummer of this is the fact that you have to take the returned goods to either USPS or UPS, go inside and have the employee/clerk to print out the tracking receipt for you. May be a hassle sometimes to HAVE to GO yourself but well worth it. I do this all the time now so I can follow how fast or slow my returned goods move. They eventually do but sometimes it takes forever it seems.

Yesterday I returned a bad pr of boots to shophq, my receipt I got from them in the box did not even give me a prepd label hence I HAD to pay return s/h myself.

I'm now in the habit of following tracking and when I know the package has been received at its destination warehouse, I wait a few days for the refund process to begin. If noting happens I then do a live chat (here) to get the process taken care of. I'll state that I know the package has been received, every once in a while they'll ask me for the tracking number, they see it's been received and will process my refund.

Tracking now a days is so important because there are SOOOOOO many packages out there passing hands at post offices, we NEED to follow our own stuff.

Q return labels are parcel post....the slowest and lowest priority of all mail options. If a post office is busy, they will sit and wait to be sorted.

Most of them rely on third parties (UNrelated to USPS) to move them from place to place and they aren't making a trip if it isn't profitable.
