Hey QVC, whomever did your consumer survey is right on for the over 70 crowd and way off for the generations with spendable "new" money.

If I wanted matronly clothes, I will go to Penneys or Sears (I like Penneys quality for sweaters and basics), save the shipping and handling, if I wanted cheap trendy clothes I would go to Kohl's or Macy's and save the shipping and handling, if I want kitchen items, I will shop locally at gourmet shops or Crate and Barrel and save the shipping and handling. If I wanted any electronic device, I would seek a store where I could TRY the item before I invested in it with REAL experts on the equipment and not just some paired informercial hawkers.

I do wear Birkenstock and although your prices are now equivalent with what I can pay at Chicago retailers, I do own many pairs that I have gotten from you. I like Suarti, the Turkish Silver and RLM jewelry. But other than that, I don't see much thaht I would spend my hard earned dollars on.

Maybe if your hosts ummmmmmmmmmmmed or tee-heed, or hoarded less and acted like adults and not silly children trying to lure me in I would buy more too, but for now, you and your consumer survey group dropped the ball, at least for me.
