Vendors Returning to QVC Studio!

It's great seeing some of the QVC Vendors returning to the studio in-person. Especially when one of them is Liam Bourke w/Vionic! He's so fine! Ha ha.

He & Leah Williams are a great team this morning!

Will make no difference as the Hosts will interrupt the vendors and talk nonsense .

Watched a few minutes of the Vionic show last night with SK and she started a conversation abt the models hair being long . Then she started abt the two vendors as husband & wife and them looking fit & the same yrs later.

I noticed vendors back in the studio this morning. Doesn't really matter to me if they're in the studio or continuing remotely. I'm sure it's nice, though, for the hosts and vendors to see each other in person again after a long absence, since they have probably developed friendships with them over time.

All of the guests who have appeared in studio are local and have socialized with their host friends frequently over the past two years.

Some have even explained that they were in the same "bubble" during the pandemic.

It's all a made for TV joke that they haven't seen each other in person.

Frankly, I actually prefer to see vendors remotely. QVC streamlined the remote vendor-view system during pandemic and I think it would not only continue to save expensive travel costs, but it has also been done quite well and is very effective! I have seen no positive difference with some vendors back in studio and just not impressed! Continue with vendors on remote, it works well....

Tonight, between the squealing and the high pitched giggling, I can't envision Liam getting more than a few words in.

He would be much better off presenting from home.

I prefer the remote presentations with vendors in and out with no fuss or bother.

Read the reviews on the Vionic TSV and you'll see why they were trying to create a distraction. It is a re-run.

I always wonder...
Who pays the travel costs for vendors to appear live and in person on QVC? Do the vendors have to pay their own way to get to the studio or does QVC foot the bill?

Well, I love seeing vendors back in studio. It reminds me of the wonderful QVC days of the (recent) past (before Covid).

Feels good to see some things returning to normal again.

@@PresentNow It's my understanding the vendors have a specific contract spelling out each & everything. So whether they appear in person or remote, what the percentages are during each appearance, if there's free shipping or somje other consideration.

My question has always been if the vendor has say a 5 minute presentation but needs to fly in from California, pay for a hotel, etc would it be more cost effective to do a remote call in?

@MarnieRez3 I listened to a Kim gravel podcast and she stated when the pandemic started she gave up her apt that was near the Qvc studio. She didn't say who paid for it however, I never finished that podcast so I don't know if she added anymore to the conversation.
