Check your Wait List Items

Just a heads up that QVC is cancelling some wait list items and not informing customers. Since June 1st, 6 of my wait list items were cancelled and I never received an email from QVC (I receive QVC emails all the time so they definitely could have reached out). I only stumbled on it when checking out my "orders/waitlist" and found them missing ... for a second, I thought they had all weirdly shipped ... actually, I kind of gasped ... uh oh, did they all ship at once?? ... lol ... but upon some research, that was not the case at all. I had items cancelled on June 2, June 9 and June 10. In the past, my experience was that wait list items stayed on your list for a long time until you cancelled (or until QVC cancelled after many months of being on the list and they notified you). Some of the items they cancelled were only on my list for a few weeks.

I think it is like 60 days. I always get a call or an email on any thing from the Q.

I haven't used the waitlist for so long that my experience has to be irrelevant, but in the good old days, wait was 45 days with an email then asking if I wanted to wait longer. Once I did and was successful, but then I decided I really didn't need what I had thought I needed.

Now? I really, really don't need anything that isn't replacing a necessity! I know some of my necessities are someone else's easy passes, but that works both ways. On my current NO BUY list: clothes, jewelry, makeup. (Kind of eliminates online shopping)

On the BUY list: washer/dryer (mine celebrate 30 years soon), mini Keurig (my original died yesterday at 20), new electronics (all mine are living on borrowed time already!) And this list makes me more content about shopping too much in the past for clothes and jewelry!

@bluehydrangea - The waitlist is only valid for 45 days. If you check the email you received when you placed the item on waitlist, there is a specific date listed near the bottom indicating when the item will be removed from the list (meaning you'd need to try to order again if you still want the item).
